This is a very nice post and detailed guide. But it is too complicated and confusing to follow via a post. Can you please make a youtube video showing this being done?
I'm really trying to follow this guide and want to do it but I haven't even made it past the bitcoin storage section without running into these issues.
“Next, boot up Tails and open up the web browser. Now we'll grab the software we need to do our wallet and passphrase generation. Head to the bitaddress.org github repo and then click on the file bitaddress.org.html.”
I thought we aren't supposed to be connected to the internet in tails or even download anything while connected either.
“Now, open up a terminal window and type:
> wget --quiet -O - https://raw.githubusercontent.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org/master/bitaddress .org.html | sha256sum”
“Replace the url with the url you just copied from the browser.”
Where does the browser url copied go into that command line? Between “> wget –quiet -O –“ and “| sha256sum”?
I can't save bitaddress.org/html in any other tails folder besides tor browser folder. I'd get the error “Could not read the contents of Desktop” “Error opening directory '/home/amnesia/ Desktop': Permission denied.”
I can't even try and click through other folders other than tor browser or make my own folder, I'd just get that error message.

My tor browser tab says “Insecure Connection”
“Your connection is not secure”

When I first start up tails I get this blackscreen that says this text below that makes me believe something I did is wrong.

You say “the raw button is in the upper left corner” but I see it on the right corner. I guess they just altered the webpage since the release of this guide?
