#NailedIt Bike. I have already started to notice the lack of any form of negativity in here. I hadn't thought of it as a double edged sword until you pointed it out but now it seems obvious as to why. Like you, I dont want there to be unnecessary evil and I don't want this to devolve into 4Chan but at the same time I can't get down on being a follower. I will only ever make genuine comments whether people like it or not. All we can do to make a change is be our flawed selves. Not try to pander but instead continue to offer quality content and honest curation. I for one have confidence in humanity but as a realist I also know that a little salt is good for flavor.
Right @farleywasgod. Although if we get the level of memes out of this like 4chan then that would be awesome. I think for authors all those comments just becomes white noise. It is like living in East Asia as a white person, so many people call you handsome or pretty to the point where your like, "I'm not that good looking guys." I guess I should open up fb to get my dose of negativity still lol
Oh don't get me wrong I've researched memes, meme culture, and even meme economy in an attempt to get better at crafting them and in my studies of the subject i came across the fact that whats considered the vest memes are usually born on 4Chan then get built up on reddit and then go the Facebook to die. I was just referring to the atmosphere of guranteed hostility for the sake of being hostile. I mean they literally expect you to call one another "Douche Canoe" as a term of endearment. I can take most things as funny but afyer a point it wears me out. That's crazy about people calling you handsome all the time. Why is that exactly?
Right, right I get you. Yeah, it is students that call me that. I honestly think that they don't really remember another good adjective to use. Sometimes it is just cause I look different and I am living in such a homogenous society.
