NOTE: I'm not a certified financial advisor and this is just my opinion. If you are looking to invest you should consult a professional. Have to say that for legal reasons.
The majority of us are on here because we love digital currency and what it stands for. We all seek to get the best bang for the buck and it's such a great time to be in the crypto market right now. There are more bulls than bears, causing a constant rush of demand for good coins.
Ripple has been on my radar for the last few months when I first got in and when they announced the AMEX partnership, I thought that their coin value would shoot through the roof, but it didn't.
Maybe it was downplayed because everyone was hyped about Bitcoin's value?
Regardless, I was fortunate and got in early and made a lot off of that boost, but NO WAY I'm going to sell any of it. It's just the beginning. HODL!!!
News was all over about Ripple, it was chaos. People were desperately trying to sign up to Bitstamp and other exchanges just to buy some and they weren't able to verify people in time (in fact my friends have been waiting 4 days for verification!)
As of this post, it's stable at .74 and thats a great thing.
- XRP is the leader to get rumored as the next Coinbase currency. There really isn't anyone out there more qualified right now. Coinbase will NEVER carry anonymous coins like DASH because they have strong ties with the gov't and both don't mix. When Coinbase gets a hold of XRP, the people who hate the process of Binance or other exchanges will buy like crazy because of the price and wanting to get in early.
Yes, I know XRP has a much higher volume cap, but the popularity in crypto currency is exploding and the amount of users and shares are also exploding.
- Look at these news writeups (to name just a few).. People are just salivating to get their hands on this..

AMEX hasn't clearly mentioned their involvement yet. I personally see AMEX offerring this as a points / reward system for users; so people can slowly move into crypto currency without converting their own USD into it. For AMEX this costs them practically nothing now; a genius move on their part.
XRP is working with BIG banks in Asia (which is just the beginning). https://twitter.com/Ripple
They have extremely fast transfer rates. Bitcoin is slow, XRP is super fast. Speed is essential for currency, and I'm curious on if Bitcoin Cash is able to catch up.
I'm planning on holding this for a long term. Its very likely that it can reach $10 next year; so over 10x growth is definitely a winner in my book.
Thanks for the info.
Anytime. There's a bunch of others I have my eye on too: Stellar and Tronix are two potential winners.
