Ethereum has great opportunities and it has forever made a stamp as a considerable technology, but to go mainstream it needs to scale and have the capacity to accommodate vigorous ico events. There is room for growth now for ethereum else some better technology like antshares, which claims to have easier coding languages and more scale-able, will eat up most or all of its marketshare. Also ethereum and bitcoin do different jobs and they are best at what they do.
