I'm a huge fan of Dash, because it is so fast and reliable. Even when I went to exchange some Altcoin for something like Ethereum, I will use Dash as the middleman, just make sure the transaction doesn't get bogged down... or lost...
In the future, I suspect that the fastest and most reliable cryptocurrency will take the lead! Just now, the floodgates are opening up to new investors. Even the investment world is opening up new wallets and pouring into the exchanges, in terms of commercial interests.
That said, speed and reliability will be everything. And reliability will go with ease of functionality, with older and newer computer systems. For example, Dash purrs on my old computer; while with Litecoin's new Segwit, i was forced to divest due to the program constantly crashing and worrying me to bits.
That said, I suggest developers should create a "RPM Cryptocurrency Meter", that would show the current speed of transactions when compared to other coins, with a reliability index for old and new computer operating systems. I think in the near future, there will be a huge need for this, to help guide the ebb and flow of higher populations of cryptocurrency users - but more importantly to place value on cryptocurrencies like Dash that I allege, is outperforming the competition.
There could also be an "RPM Cryptocurrency Exchange Meter" as well.
Such a project would have exceptional value in the advertising world, much like cryptomarketcap.com It would allow average people like me to know where its best to not only divert my time and energy, but where to place value in terms of investments. Merely stating market cap, for example, is a very narrow view of how to place value on cryptocurrency affairs, especially when there is so much speculation going on, that is bound to be wrestled to the ground by so many inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and exploding populations of users. Crowds turn into denial of service attacks (DoS attacks), and those that can herd the crowds best with value, should be rewarded.
We need more dynamic indexes. Developers, please provide!
