BITTREX ACCOUNT HACKED Two-Factor-Autentication bypassed

Dear Steemers and Crypto Traders

In the past time we have heared that an BITTREX Trading Account was hacked. The Account Value was around 30k. The owner has enabled Two-Factor-Autentication but the hacker was able to get in.

What can you do to avoid that if you are trading on BITTREX?

  1.  use a strong Password and change it frequently.
  2. enable Two-Factor-Autentication
  3. use the a IP-Whitelist function 
  4. use the Withdrawal Whitelist function

        I see a link to a very general FAQ-answer page concerning the aftermath of having your user account hacked. However I do not see any mention of the scenario you described above.
