Here I share a resource for quick assessment of cryptocurrencies: COIN_SHAPE is a Google Sheet that offers simultaneous visibility of twenty cryptocurrency price-charts, which are updated every ten minutes. Data is pulled into the sheet direct from the Poloniex API.
I made COIN_SHAPE because having eyes on ever-changing coin prices is crucial to trading decisions, and the faster you can get your eyes on your charts the better. As you'll see, COIN_SHAPE speeds our assessment of coins by putting all their price charts in the same place, eliminating the need for selecting individual coins.
I hope this little tool is useful to you in making trading decisions.

What COIN_SHAPE does
COIN_SHAPE is programmed to pull and chart price-data for 20 crypto-coins off the Poloniex API. Every ten minutes, it adds the current price to each coin's line chart, and deletes the oldest price on the chart. Charts always show the last 24 hours of price-changes.
Below we see three example charts, each showing this weekend's bear market. I watched all three dives and more in real time on the COIN_SHAPE Google Sheet!

Visibility
To me the key feature of COIN_SHAPE is that each chart is visible in the same tab. This gives you instant eyes on multiple crypto price-charts at once. COIN SHAPE lets you see 24 hours of price changes for multiple coins, fast. That's its whole purpose.

Philosophy
I want live updating 24 hour line-charts for every coin, available at any given moment. I want access to this info ASAP, in as easy a format to ingest as possible. At the moment, I'm using this little spreadsheet to begin to address these requirements, and hope some of you will too. Show me a better solution and I'll use that instead.
