that answer depends on how profitable margin trading can be for exchanges. I heard that it is quite good. so maybe they let fee goes to zero and bring volume here and expect it to generate money if more will be involved in margin trading... well, that's just my reasoning. :)

yeah the volume is all an exchange want and need. let's see if how high could they rise.
