I know quite a few people here on steemit have been using Coinpot. I was one of them. Now it looks like the site and all related faucet sites are offline. They say maintenance, but people on Twitter were reporting 0 balances across the board before things went offline. The odds of an exit scam are good here, but we'll see in about 24 hours if that theory is true.
What do you think? Were they hacked? Was it a scam all along? Are they really just doing maintenance?
Fingers crossed,but I think CoinPot exit scammed, and also scammed Moon, and now Moon is trying to figure out what to do.

Their affiliate sites such as MellowAds are still operational so the maintenance claim is highly suspicious.
The Moon Bitcoin twitter account mentioned a server failure. Don't get your hopes up, but we'll see how this plays out.

Ive had payouts from them, but cant get my survey satoshi to clear, and now its all just offline...They have been having some server issues the last few days so might be maintance., but could be an exit.
Oh back on line and working. After responding to your comment and reading into your posts I felt even worse. I had most of my crypto in coinpot and did not even think about the site being down while all faucets were. This poses another danger with investing in cryptos. No control in these websites if they go down they may take our coins with them. I can not believe how many things to deal with just to safe keep one's principal investment. Forget black friday, I'm just going with a ledger nano s before the next website down. The irony was I spent hours watching btc price and worrying a few dollars when right where I had most of my crypto it was no longer in my possession. crazy!
Exit scams are a very real concern. Take the necessary precautions, make sure you're properly protected, and don't let yourself lose your money.
