According to "Doctor Web Anitivirus Lab", a new Trojan is widely used among users of the Windows system.
Trojan.BtcMine.1259 is a malicious program designed for mining Monero crypto currency (XMR). Immediately after the start, Trojan.BtcMine.1259 checks to see if the copy is running on the computer.
Then it determines the number of processor cores, decodes and loads into memory the library stored in its body. This library is a backdoor Gh0st RAT. Then Trojan.BtcMine.1259 saves its copy to disk and launches it as a system service. And the malicious program can use both 32-bit and 64-bit version of the module for mining crypto currency. Trojan is able to use a certain number of cores and computing resources.
In this case, the Trojan tracks the processes running on the infected computer and when you try to start the task manager, it completes his work.
That's such tricky! Be careful and watch out for the safety of your computers.
Trojans-miners are malicious programs that use the computing resources of an infected device for mining (mining) crypto-currency.
