Let me start my new post with an excellent quote: |
---|
"We live in a world that is ruled by technology, its everywhere around us, and it makes our lives much easier by us accomplish quite complicated things efficiently, allowing everyone to increase their productivity and therefore, the quality of their life." - @dedicatedguy
Many developers and bloggers seem to be very excited about this promising project. Have a look at all the buzz it's already currently generating:
"Crowd Machine, a multibillion-dollar project that will change the world."
"ALL DEVELOPERS DREAM"
"Crowd Machine is THE MOST game-changing, disruptive, comprehensive, and all-inclusive platform/ecosystem initiative I have ever seen!" - @jaichai
"It is THE MOST game-changing, disruptive, comprehensive, and all-inclusive project I have ever seen!"
"Crowd Machine will disrupt several multi-trillion dollar industries, including permissioned BAAS, Open Source Coding/Repository services, global contributory computer resource sharing, and DApp development/deployment (no coding needed and radically cutting DApp development/deployment times)." - @jaichai
"Crowd Machine, the future is in front of you." - @jacksartori
" Crowd Machine has successfully tested its business model with fortune 500 companies such as General Electric, KONE, Anthem, etc" - @gandhibaba
Did I get your attention yet?!
I really hope so, as this project is pretty mind blowing. And at the same time it's one of the very few ICOs out there that actually seems to serve some purpose |

I'm not going to go much into details, but there is already so much of valuable information about this crypto online. The best would be to visit @originalworks and look at results of their latest contest (related to Crowd Machine).
This post should be considered in a way a tribute to those who decided to be part of this contest.
So, just to recap. What is Crowd Machine?
- "Crowd Machine is a global decentralized engine which let the users or developers execute their decentralized apps without writing code " - @canku
- "Crowd Machine is a decentralized alternative to existing cloud computing services" - @ecotone
- "Crowd Machine is similar and in between Github and Appstore. Crowd Machine is entering software market with a market value of 329b and blockchain technology with an estimated value of 175b by 2025 according to a research from Garner¹." - @carlpei
- "Crowd Machine is a cryptocurrency project that uses blockchain technology and smart contracts to create an open development environment for users to create apps and dApps with or without a technology development background." - @chekohler
Isn't this great? Being able to create your own blockchain app? I love that idea! But I would like us to focus for a moment on the social consequences and IT job market. Because blockchain combined with Crowd Machine can turned it up-side-down.
The demand for app developers are growing really fast and there is not enough "supply". If I would like to create small app for myself then it would be very costly and difficult. Thanks to Crowd Machine I may be able to create an app without knowing any programming language. Perfect.
@jaichai summarized it quite well:
"There is a serious shortfall of qualified, competent DApp blockchain developers. And given the exponential growth of blockchain projects and the steep learning curve of current blockchain and smart contract programming languages, it's only going to get worse."
I managed to read several posts about CM and I would love to share one of my favourite with you. Created by @pritpatel
https://steemit.com/technology/@pritpatel/advancing-the-future-of-cloud-computing-with-crowd-machine
This guy is a QA Engineer and he pretty much fully covers most questions that you may have. It's a MUST to read.
source: funsportscup.com
My intention here is not to talk about the technical details of this project as many people may already have. I on the other hand am more interested with the impact that this crypto may have on the industry. Just some of the burning questions on my mind. Will it cause an unemployment between programmers to increase or decrease? Since we will be able to create apps without looking for developer then would be there still enough demand for them?
Im trying to figure out how CM can affect current market and existing platform?
Will ETH, Cardano, Neo, EOS, Lisk, iota, waves or qtum benefit or is Crowd Machine a threat to them? I really hope that some of you have answers and are able to share them with me. I would appreciate a lot.
I would also like to know if there is anyone who actually managed to register himself for the Crowd Machine Beta Testing and what's your first impression? Do they really deliver as promised?
And my last question is related to potential COMPETITION:
I've been trying to find any possible competition in this field and so far I only came across project called DADI (what a lovely name). Would anyone here know about any other competition to Crowd Machine?
What advantage Crowd Machine has over their direct competition (https://dadi.cloud)?
Cheers, Piotr
ps.
Also I would recommend you watch an interview with the COE of Crown Machine. Very informative: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=12&v=NpVuPG0hCJQ
I think, Crowd Machine would be revolutionary; The most interesting element for me is Crowd Computer that would utilize the unused computational resources of the internet users, and the device owners who will inturn get rewards.
Indeed it may be revolutionary. Im partly wondering if it wouldnt be wise to become developer and learn more about CM. That knowledge can be very useful. Demand will be most likely huge.
Hi,
Can you reply me on facebook, so your identity is verified ? I sent you message on your FB https://www.facebook.com/CryptoPiotr/
Or, put your steemit link on your facebook profile so we know that it is yours. I saw that you have posts on FB which you publish on Steemit, but I couldn't verify that this is your real account.. Thanks.
Hi Mona
Im not sure what do you mean by veryfing my identity via facebok. I just checked my facebook page but I cannot see any message coming from you. My private fb: Piotr Leib. Perhaps you could add me too?
Do you always try to verify everyone you come across?? :)
Im gonna try to update my fb profile and add link to steemit. Thx for your suggestion :)
Yes, I verify those who have good content, so if they are real, I try to recommend their content to curie, and they can get upvote.
oh wow.
that's very kind of you.
for moment I was worried that I'm in trouble already.
I learned about curie few days ago. Would you mind telling me how does it work? Can I recommend my own post or do I have to recommend someones else post?
Yours
Piotr
If you write quality post, the curie curators will find it, so you do not need to recommend it; however, I am in a community called @steemrepair. If you join that, you can show your post to on of the curie curators and we will give you feedback about it to make it 'curieable'.
I suggest you join @steemrepair on discord, and we can chat there. I prefer not to chat here in the comments.
Thanks a lot :)
What do you mean by "joining"? I followed that profile already. is that what you have on your mind?
Im an email kind of guy as I dont use mobile phones at all. I realized that Im addicted to them and I was spending to much time online. Over 2 years I got rid of my phone and I love it now. Im 100% offline once I close my laptop. Amazing feeling :)
So no discord or watsup. Just email and fb. Would you perhaps like to keep in touch with me via email? Just drop me a message to promib.pl@gmail.com
I would love to be able to get to know you closer, as clearly we're very like minded and we share similar passions. Plus we could support each other on steemit even more.
Yours,
Piotr
By joining, I mean to join their discord channel. You need to make an account on 'discord'.
Hehehe - yeah - i know that feeling. I changed my phone into an old Nokia Series 3 - only sms and CALL someone, if i need help, information or other things. 5 days with a single battery charge. No fuc*ing piep piep - dring dring - dudeldu every minute from hundreds of messengers, apps, etc.
That´s what i call pure gold and sparetime. Work hard, but don´t let these shitty things bomb every minute of your life. :)
@monajam Although the definition of good contents is relative, I feel Piotr has got good contents. I have checked his works and I am impressed. You could also check my contents if it meets curie's standard.
P.s: You are being followed.
I will definitely have a look, and I followed you as well :)
I am in a community where Steemians get support; their posts are upvoted; if you want, you can join. It is called @steemrepair
They are on discord and you can find their link at the bottom of my 'contest' posts.
Thanks for following. I have joined the Discord channel but I am lost. I don't know how it works.
Here is the link to the discord channel of steemrepair https://discord.gg/vnbMHjM
@monajam can you please leave the invitation to your room in discord? I would like to visit and participate in your community
Here is the link to the discord channel of steemrepair https://discord.gg/vnbMHjM
You can also contact me on discord (ID: monajam)
@monajam @gandhibaba would you guys mind telling me how Curie can benefit authors? Is it worth an effort? Do they help with getting more reach or upvoting your post (so your paycheck is bigger)?
And yeah, @gandhibaba is creating great content and he is super kind, polite and responsive. I think you two will get allong very well.
Hi Piotr,
Curie upvotes exceptional posts in any category except religion, politics, cryptocurrency; you should visit their profile @curie and read the latest posts. You will also find guidelines there.
Thanks Piotr. You are also a kind person.
You're to kind mate :)
This post would not exist if you and others wouldnt write about CM in the first place. All glory should belong to people like yourself.
Thanks friend. It is my pleasure. I have just posted my entry for this week's contest about Chimaera, a blockchain game development and playing platform. You may want to check it out.
I think I already did :)
Hi Mona,
Are you planning to join @originalworks this weekend and write about FarmaTrust ?
I made my first contest ever. Would you mind checking it out and sharing your feedback? And perhaps also commenting as Im interested what is your view on discussed issue:
https://steemit.com/blockchain/@crypto.piotr/mini-contest-how-ai-supported-by-growing-blockchain-technology-can-change-the-world
I would really appreciate if you could share some of your experience with me :)
Cheers, Piotr
Hi Piotr :)
Yes, I plan to participate this week too. I plan to participate in all the upcoming contests.
I will read your post later; Sunday is a bit busy. It would be nice if you send this link on facebook, so I remember to read it. Thanks.
I will :) check your facebook and hope you had a good weekend
ps. I noticed that you didnt join @originalworks this week and didnt write about Farmatrust. I was curious what you have to say about this project.
I really wanted to write about it as it is somewhat related to my field of study, but I didin't have time. I may still write, bcuz I have some hours left, but am not sure.

I appreciate :)
Could you please tell me if you managed to read my previous reply and my identity is confirmed? I wouldnt like to get in trouble here
@echowhale team swimming by with your upvotes
I had to upvote and resteem man. This is great stuff.
Wow. That's very kind of you mate
Great article, Piotr! I had heard about this Crowd Machine recently, myself, and have been wanting to take a deeper look also. Thanks for the great head start. Just so little time these days. I've gotta run, but will be sure to give this one some more of my attention soon. Take care
I really think it's worth your time. Crowd Machine is blowing my mind and Im seriously considering trying to build my own small blockchain app once it's ready (mostly for fun).
Hi Piotr,
Yeah, it does look interesting. The real question is have you (or anyone you know) been able to test it in any way whatsoever or is it even available to test out yet? I can't seem to find much on that.
They say in their FAQs:
The Crowd Computer will not be available until Q4 of this year, which is a fairly long way off to be able to really test it fully in the real world.
I see it is a for profit company, but I can't find much info on them. In the TOS I see they are 3 companies: Crowd Machine SEZC, Crowd Machine, Inc., and Metavine, Inc. (collectively "Crowd Machine") and that they fall under the laws of the Cayman Islands; but I can't find any address, tel, etc. not even in the Whois database of the domain name, which hides under Privacy Protect, LLC and was registered originally in 2009. So I wonder why it has taken them so long to get to this ICO stage and still not even have a workable product/service yet. All of this to me is a huge sign of caution in my book.
The main difficulty I have with Crowd Machine is that it looks just like so many other ERC20-based ICOs that have great ideas, but not yet proven and thus a real gamble at this stage. A very large percentage of ICOs have crashed and burned recently when it came time to really make it happen. This makes it seem to be a highly speculative proposition until they can put some real proof behind their claims. Just my thoughts after reading and looking into them for a few hours now.
I've tried to sign up for their beta program but it's closed already. It seem that they had already 5 different beta tests happening so I presume that this project is quite advanced.
At the same time I read someone saying that this software will be fully ready within a year or so. That's still long way to go. Definetly it's worth paying closer attention.
Im so impressed with your investigation. You're GOOOD!
"All of this to me is a huge sign of caution in my book.".
Indeed all your reasons mentioned above are raising some sort of red flag. I never invested in any ICO and I do not intent to. My goal is to bring programmers/developers attention to their product (not investors).
Thank you again for such an excellent comment. You're absolutely one of the most valuable blogger I've ever met in my life so far.
Thanks, Piotr. A few beta tests and not planning to be fully ready until a year or so is an even greater red flag to me. In a way these sorts of flags in Crowd Machine are some of the things that cause the critics, regulators, authorities, SEC etc. to move towards more stringent regulations and thus, unfortunately their lack of honest open transparency makes it more difficult for others. Especially if they are a for-profit company (of companies), they should show more professional open transparency and explain things such as why they have 3 companies in far more detail, as well as where they are and how they can be reached. That should be paramount in my view. That's one difference between what is now termed "White Paper" and what was always considered a good business plan. With all the many similarities to the DotCom bubble/crash, one would think businesses would learn from all the mistakes of the past. Instead they make the same mistakes even worse.
I've found very fresh public interview with Crowd Machine CEO. Perhaps you will find this video usefull:
Good video! They certainly have lots of really good ideas.
Listening to some of those, I still have difficulty with why they are a for-profit company. I think like Jed McCaleb, co-founder of Stellar, sometimes mentions, as to why he broke away and forked off of Ripple. He speaks of imagining how the internet would be, if it was created and launched by one for-profit corporate entity. It would never have developed into what it is; still largely free and uncensored as it is today. I think this same reasoning is at the core issue of so many problems that steemit itself has as being a for-profit company as well.
Well done @crypto.piotr I knew you can write great article. You should join originalworks contest next time.
The only project that come to my mind when I read about CM is EOS, and I think CM is better than EOS.
You should make a Discord channel and we can discuss in more detail.
I wish I could join this contest, but unfortunatelly Im not a native english speaker and before I post anything I need to ask my gf to fix my english. Which is pain in the ass sometimes. Hopefully one day.
Im an email kind of guy as I dont use mobile phones at all. I realized that Im addicted to them and I was spending to much time online. Over 2 years I got rid of my phone and I love it now. Im 100% offline once I close my laptop. Amazing feeling :)

English is not my native language either, but one thing I've learned about languages is the more you are confident of using it the faster you will learn. I used to talk in English more than writing down in English. I'm struggle to write a content in English, I have to use Word to check grammar and spelling, I also ask someone with better English to proofreading.
I sent you an email yesterday, but no worry I will send you another one (cao****@gmail.com). Thank you for your kindness and support.
I've found very fresh public interview with Crowd Machine CEO. Perhaps you will find this video usefull:
Great, thank you for your information.
I wish it would work that way.
I moved out from Poland 13 years ago and my partner is native english speaker and I still struggle. At the same time I'm great with math, directions, computers, planning, budgeting and many all that technical stuff. But languages? I suck big time :)
Let me check my email box :) I will be happy to support you. That's pretty much why I am here. i dont really care much about making $$$ (as I dont believe i could earn much directly via steemit without investing all my savings). Im here to get closer to kind and like-minded people. Just the way you are.
Have a great sunday
I'm bad at math, If I get 50 cent for each time I fail at math, I would have a total earning of 2600 and 30 cent. Check your spam box for my email too, just incase.
We will discuss about Steemit and other side of it on email. Let share our knowledge, and hopefully that we can learn a thing or two from each other.
Have a great Sunday too!
Hi mate
I just did check my gmail spam box and I still couldnt find your first email. Strange.
Definetly we should keep in touch. I can only see us both benefiting in short and long run :)
Cheers buddy
Are you joining this weekend @oryginalworks contest too?
I'm joining with http://www.cryptohype.tech/ today, we are under a project for now. If I have spare time I will join originalworks, that gaming ICO is quite interesting too, I do play game, and I have couple of things about gaming with combination of crypto to talk about.
Wow. Im shocked. It seem that we have mutual friends here :)
I wouldn't be surprise if we do have at least a mutual friend. We do share something in common, we will be likely to join in a circle of friends.
As long as your writing is original and you put in the effort, feel free to join! This is indeed quite a great article!
Thank you for your kind comment.
Im not a native english speaker so writting any sort of article and then asking my partner to fix my english is taking quite ... forever.
Im also just learning how to blog. On daily basis Im a social media marketer + western boxing coach so I have very little experience. Will join @originalworks contest within few weeks. Once I will feel more comfortable with my writting.
Till then I will do my best to help and promote your contest as I can see how steemit community is benefiting. You're guys doing great job!
Respect all the way
Piotr
Interessent .. i wonder how creating dapps without coding works and if applications run on the blockchain, or are they just created on it....
Apparently it's all drag and drop. I also wonder how exacly does it work and how much flexibility will it provide.
I noticed that many people seem to be very positive and full of hopes when it come to future of developers and programmers. Im not that sure. Have you ever heard about wix.com or other tools that are allowing to create websites without knowing HTML? It seem that those sort of tools are in a way destroying market.
I realized that there is growing common believe that "anyone can do website now" which brings value of real webdevelopers and their work heavily down. I wonder if we would witness same with Crowd machine. Will value of programmers drop a lot as well? I can imagine people saying that "creating app isnt that hard. I've heard that anyone can do it. Even my friend who isnt programmer did some already". This approach would be awful.
What do you think?
Ah okay i see! As far as i have learned those out of the box offers can really do the very basic stuff only. If you want any functionality or personalised design, it can get complicated, so Crowd Machine would need to offer some form of costumisation to be successful. On the broader scope i wouldnt worry about devs. It's good that with stable frameworks you dont need to reinvent the will, but still there will always be needed somebody to tinker together the single pieces.
I've found very fresh public interview with Crowd Machine CEO. Perhaps you will find this video usefull:
Interesting! Will definitely need to watch it!
I absolutely agree. But the problem is that most people are completly happy with what shopify or wix.com have to offer. Especially if they can do things on their own. Without being forced to communicate with web developers.
I've been living long enough (I also worked as a programmer in the past for many years) to understand that noone likes to deal with programmers. Because they speak in "different language".
But I also came to realization than it's pointless to compare creating websites to blockchain apps. Website can be done poorly and people will still use it. But app need to be pretty much perfect or noone will even care.
Thanks for your comment mate
You just planted 0.49 tree(s)!

Thanks to you I had discovered Deep Brain Chain,
Thank to you I have discovered the Crowd Machine.
Honestly this is a very amazing initiative that has so much potential. The very fact they are able to demonstrate clips from their beta on their video makes me actually visualize how this will come into play. I will go about reading their Whitepaper in detail, this is a pretty amazing development. I wonder how other platforms for decentralized app development will be affected by the entry.
Are you considering scooping up some of their tokens from their ICO? I know you're passive in investing but just curious. Major apologies for such a late comment and what not. It's been a rather bumpy week and had been rather away from work!
Thanks to you I discovered great friendship on steemit :)
I'm to poor to get any ICO. I would need to invest min 100k usd in presale. They are aiming big players only.
Take care mate
I apologize that I had not passed by here, you are a great author and I see that you have quality followers, that is because you are one, I am very happy reading your post,, greetings

Disruptive, but not Crippling
Coin Machine I definitely think will be disruptive in the long run. However I still strongly believe that there will be still many employment opportunities for programmes in this industry. Since this platform is in beta, without a doubt I would think there are minor errors and functions which would not be available like regular coding laguages. Since Coin Machine is targeted towards a non-experience developer group, understanding how to achieve a specific goal within the platform may be challenging. With that, at the moment I think programmers jobs are quite safe.
Thank you for such an amazing reply.
I guess time will tell.

What do you think?
Yea, I guess so. Like you said, only time will tell. At the moment we can only infer from past experiences. Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy are definitely taking over website design and creation.
I've found very fresh public interview with Crowd Machine CEO. Perhaps you will find this video usefull:
I think that more than removing jobs from programmers will give more fields of work, because by expanding the world of programming and applications, more sources of employment open, you can also create applications using programming blocks, but those blocks will be the work of the programmer, so we all win, it's really a very interesting topic
Indeed it is very interesting. Im quite fascinated by CM and Im very curious how will it change job market.

Damn. Can I edit post once I uploaded it already?
I fixed it. Was easier than I expected. I never knew I can reedit posts on steemit.
You can edit anytime before payout.
That make sense. I remember that I've tried to edit my post in the past and I failed. Now I know why.

@crypto.piotr You explained CM really well. People will certainly want to create their own app if it is easy enough. Digital automation is why many people use Linux and why PowerShell was a necessary advancement. CM seems to share a Steve Jobs line of thinking. Thanks for inspiring this last point. I found it in the breadth of you post.
Hi buddy, thank you for your kind reply.
I've never heard about PowerShell or Lynix. Are those projects related to blockchain?
Keep in touch :)
No. Not blockchain just operating system easier to automate. And oops its spelled Linux.
hahahah okey :) Linux I know. I mean I've heard about it and I even tried to learn but I found it to complicated.
cheers, enjoy your sunday

ps. You mind telling me what was Steve Jobs line of thinking? I know that name but I never paid much attention to his actions and words.
Value of programmers will prob drop in some instances. Have heard of wix. I learned a lot in a year of web design. If one wants a custom website with a personal feel and some nuances like button design, then one wants a programmer and not a template. These templates keep getting better just like CM. Remember though, CM will monetize code from programmers, so if someone cuts and pastes a snippet then the creator can still profit. That is not the way things are set up now.
Jobs' Apple was personal and graphical. Used by teachers and military, it cost more but had more diverse applications than the competition.

Intrigued by blockchain verticalization and specialization within crowd computer.
Hi,
Are you planning to join @originalworks this weekend and write about FarmaTrust ?
I made my first contest ever. Would you mind checking it out and sharing your feedback? And perhaps also commenting as Im interested what is your view on discussed issue:

Pepper you're the besT! :D
Damn. I was wondering how come I never received paid upvote from speedvoter (I did use my 1,5SBD) and now I know why hehehehe :)
I wonder if there is a way to get refund from them. Any idea?
Now this is what am talking about
Great piece here..... Lemme say I inspired this #winks
Hi buddy
indeed you were part of inspiration :) thx
This post has received a 0.24 % upvote from @drotto thanks to: @peppermint24.
hi @crypto.piotr
Thank you for mentioning my post here. I am really glad that you liked it.
I am really excited about future of Crowd Machine. Development of Dapps is very tricky even if you are a developer considering amount of resources and knowledge you have to bring to the table. I am looking forward to their studio app to see how the actual schematics will work in the development process.
I am hoping it will be similar (but not exact ) to the WordPress or CMS development in shopify.
I see that you have gone through lot of crowd machine related articles on steemit. I liked the the way you done composition of quotes of different writers.
Keep up the good work. I am existed to hear more about your views on blockchain world.
Liked it? I loved it :)
Have you ever personally tried to build any blockchain app? I wonder how difficult it is.
WordPress does require knowing HTML. Im worried that it may be more like wix.com
Indeed I read like 15-20 articles fully and I "scanned" several more to see if I can find anything I didnt know yet. And still your post has been my favourite. Not the easiest to read but and you provided so much valuable information.
Have a great sundey buddy
I've found very fresh public interview with Crowd Machine CEO. Perhaps you will find this video usefull:
This is a very informative session. specially the last bit where they described whole ecosystem in simplest terms.
the video also answered one of the question about early beta access. They are providing and gradually increasing access in range 150 users at a time to their app development platform.
Since it is a beta version i guess this was bound to happen. I am guessing (hopefully soon) we will be able to get the access to Studio App and get some hands on the platform.
Thank you for providing the link to the video.
Im glad to hear that you found it useful :)
Also would you mind checking my last post and sharing your opinion in regard to asked quetion: "Will crypto and blockchain divide humanity?". Im very curious what's your view on that issue.
Cheers, Piotr
@crypto.piotr Just checked out your profile and found that you're also into the A.I. field, is it possible for you to write some articles and combine both the blockchain and A.I. together in near future?
PS: Followed and look forward for your masterpieces :)
hi Wilson
Indeed I love researching about AI but I still consider myself an amateour in that field.
Ive been thinking about writting article about Deepbrain Chain and perhaps Singularity. Have you heard about those two?
I tried to read some of your posts but .... I cannot understand anything :) What language is it? Didnt you consider writting also in english?
Glad that you're going to get involved with A.I. field...
Ah, Deepbrain Chain - I heard about it at bitcointalk.org forum, there's an ANN thread over there, if I'm not wrong, it's being created on early December 2017. It's a China company but SG based that combined both blockchain and A.I. into one!
Did you invest in Deepbrain Chain ICO?
Well, I mostly posted in Simplified Chinese, but once in a blue moon, I will post in trilingual - English + Malay + Chinese (You can check back my earlier posts, including the self introduce post)
It's an honor to meet you here, stay active bro :)
DBC indeed has been created lately but their team already exist for over 6 years and they created their own AI platform called Deepbrain. So Deepbrain chain is an extension of deep brain (AI operating platform). I hope it does make sense.
Now they want to merge it with blockchain technology and DBC will be their final product.
I didnt invest in any ICO so far. Im not much of an investor as I'm not rich enough. But I love learning and researching. I did invest some savings lately into their coin, because currently DBC is super cheap. They joined coinmarketcap right before january crash so price went down like crazy.
I also believe in DBC because this is Chinese project. And we all know how China doesnt allow foreign projects to dominate their market. And since DBC is backed up financially by NEO .... well that only tells me that DBC will be number 1 in China when it comes to AI and blockchain technology. This is enough for me to believe that this is going to be HUGE ....
It's a pleasure to meet you too. Would you perhaps like to keep in touch via email sometimes? It's just so hard to communicate via Steemit. And I would love to get to know you closer. You could tell me more about Chinese market :)
My email: promib.pl@gmail.com
Take care :) Piotr
I've found very fresh public interview with Crowd Machine CEO. Perhaps you will find this video usefull:
Oh, sounds great Piotr. By the way, you can check more infos about Crowd Machine in Bitcointalk's ANN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2398960.0
Hi Piotr! It is exactly projects like this that make me excited about crypto. Thank you for sharing it with the steemit community! I surely will have to find some time to dig deeper and see how big the potential is, but it sounds promising.
It reminds me a lot to what Ark (I mentioned to you this crypto recently) aims to achieve as well - creating your own apps with just a few clicks! Actually, this was one of the main reasons I decided to buy Ark coins. Apart from creating her own platform, Ark aims to create smart bridges with the other existing platforms (Neo, Ethereum, etc) and on top of that to enable non-programmers to create their own apps. In my opinion if Ark succeeds, it will be beneficiary to the whole crypto in general and it will propel it to new highs, possibly also mass adoption (if what I read was correct, so far the crypto world attracts mostly speculators and innovators - still a very small part of the population). Crowd machine might be a competitor of Ark and I find it a good thing - it is competition what makes you work harder and motivated to outperform the rest (not that the Ark team does not work hard enough although the price does not reflect it, in my opinion). Anyway, thank you for bringing me the attention to this ICO, I will do some more research. Cheers!
hi @humblestudent
I agree that this project looks promissing and it's worth paying attention to it. Not only as a investor.
Would you mind telling me more about ARK? You said that you mentioned it lately but I probably missed your post as I cannot recall anyone talking about this crypto. It seem that Ark is very little known and indeed price doesnt reflect it's mentioned potential. Any idea why price of this particular crypto has never been skyrocketing?
I agree that competition is helthy and can only benefit everyone. That's just the way it is, isnt it?
ps.
I just checked your profile and I realized that you resteemed my post. THANK you. Thats very kind of you.
Would you mind telling me why you're not building your own blog? Only reposting. It's hard pay back your kindness to upvote/resteem your posts if I cannot find anything written by you.
Hi again, Piotr! I resteemed your post simply because I find it valuable and worth the read - there is no need to do anything for me (you know I charge one ethereum for resteeming, right? Just kidding :)
So far I am a steemit member mostly to follow other people and update myself with TA and fundamental about crypto..probably at some point I will be more active with my blog.
Concerning Ark, I think I more or less summarized the gist of the project - it is a platform similar to Lisk (in fact the wallets, for example look surprisingly similar). However, Ark supporters claim that the delegating system with Lisk is flawed, whilst the one of Ark is way fairer (I do not know whether this is true as I haven't researched Lisk enough). Basically you vote for a delegate and receive a passive income of Ark based on how many arks you've got.
The project is still in its infancy, but is quite ambitious. It is based in France and in my opinion it is one of the most crypto-friendly countries in the world, so this is a positive thing. There are also some rumours that Ark might cooperate with the French government as Ark is involved with France's legal framework for ICO's.
Ark has been working on V2 - an update which will increase security and speed (even now the transaction speed is just a few seconds). Then there is ArkVM - the platform where the applications will be built with just a few clicks - one does not need to know programming languages in order to launch his/her own app.
For free!
Then Ark will be convertible to major currencies such as the euro and the dollar. And when Ark creates the so called smart bridges, one will be able to purchase directly other crypto (for example Ethereum, or Neo) via the Ark smart bridge. Plus one will be able to use the Ethereum blockchain through the Ark platform! In this way Ark is the intermediate between the other platforms.
The team is also great in my opinion - it has been growing constantly and adding professional developers. There was a lack of marketing (which might be one of the reasons why the price didn't grow as much as many other coins) but Ark fixed this issue by hiring a very professional marketing manager. I personally suspect that Ark didn't pay for marketing because they still had no working product, but as this is changing now (the first ICO will launch on the Ark platform soon), they will do lots of marketing now - Ark will be among the main players in Consensus 2018 (just google it, in case you still haven't heard of it). I think that this will be the place where many businesses will hear about this quite promising project and things might change for the better for Ark.
To sum up, Ark might be a long-term investment, not a speculative coin and growth might be slower compared to other coins. However, the project grows steadily and the team and the community behind it are two great assets which in the long run might prove to be the right path. I personally believe that 2018 will be great for Ark with lots of exciting developments!
I hope that helps a bit - it is more or less the base of Ark. Have a good day!
I've honestly learned a lot more about ark than what I knew prior to this. Thank you for such an insightful comment!
You are welcome. Glad I could help you learn more about Ark. Cheers!
Thank you again for your kind words. I believe in common saying "what goes around comes around".
So it's not that I feel like I have to do anything to show my appreciation. I simply WANT to do it :)
And BIG Thanks for all effort that you put to educate me about Ark. Amazing stuff!
ps.
Didnt you consider setting up some profile picture on steemit and powering up a little bit?
I know I asked you before about dropping me a message at my email: promib.pl@gmail.com
Would you mind doing it? I would really love to stay in touch closer with valuable, like-minded people, sharing similar passions. And you're definetly one of those people :)
Is France really so crypto friendly? I didnt know about it. Interesting....
I've found very fresh public interview with Crowd Machine CEO. Perhaps you will find this video usefull:
Thanks a lot for your video, Piotr! Will watch it as soon as I can.
P.s. Sorry for my late reply, but these last few days were quite busy here.
Are you planning to join @originalworks this weekend and write about FarmaTrust ?
I made my first contest ever. Would you mind checking it out and sharing your feedback? And perhaps also commenting as Im interested what is your view on discussed issue:
https://steemit.com/blockchain/@crypto.piotr/mini-contest-how-ai-supported-by-growing-blockchain-technology-can-change-the-world
I would really appreciate if you could share some of your experience with me :)
Cheers, Piotr
Thank you for inviting me to the contest, my friend! I just skimmed through it and will read more about it tomorrow when I have more time. Just for the sake of discussing interesting stuff with part of the crypto community. Cheers!
Absolutely :)
oh jezzz.
I just realized my silly mistake. In my previous post I didnt include the code that would justify text. Silly me.
Here is short article I've found that explain how to do it:
https://steemit.com/html/@dyrits/steem-it-1-how-to-justify-your-text
Oh and I also wanted to thank you for your comment in my latest contest. I appreciate your time and support. Cheers! :)
Yours,
Do they have MVP yet? To me it sounds like bunch of buzz words put together haven't looked in details though so I might change my mind.
I think Golem is doing decentralized distributed super computer and DADI had some troubles during their ICO.
Also a few ICOs went even lower than their preICO price due to BTC sell offs so I'm not sure if this is the time to be involved into an ICO.
hi buddy
what MVP stands for? I've never heard that expression so far.
Thx for your comment. Have a great sunday mate
Minimum Viable Product. Basically do they have some kind of working product already or not? Or is this just an idea with no implementation yet.
From my undestanding their team has been working on this project for few years already and they had beta version released already a while ago. im not sure exacly when final product will be ready but I read someone saying that within 1-1,5 year from now.
ps. I thought that Golem is more into AI. not so much about supporting blockchain app development.
cheers
Okay, that means they have MVP already. I watched their video but didn't get into the details.
There are too many ICOs to keep track off so I guess I'll stick with bitcoin for now as alts swing way more intense than bitcoin too.
Look at your goal, I thinking of my boss! He is the best boss I ever met. He told me the same thing! I miss him so sososo much!! He back to his home at Netherland few years ago... thank you and thank my boss...
"Look at your goal, I thinking of my boss! "
Im so confused. What do you mean?
Your entire comment is very confusing and I cannot see how is it related to current post.
You written your goal is to share knowledge and experience ( you are sharing about crypto) but my boss ofcourse not sharing about crypto, but you both have the same way of big heart.
Sorry to confuse you. Please forgive my poor English.
oh now I understand. Im sorry. Just a long day and I didnt "click".
Personally I dont think i have a big heart. I just know why I joined Steemit. Not because I want to make money here but because I want to get to know valuable like minded people. And I also learned that in order to "receive" one need to "give" first.
ps. no need to appologize. I appreciate your comment a lot. You mind telling me where are you from? Im also not a native english speaker (Im Polish, living in Malaysia).
Cheers :) Piotr
Ah good then, hope you are always well too. Exactly! Give and take that's what I agree. I'm from Malaysia!! You living in Malaysia??? Woww!!! Seems a lot steemians living in Malaysia, I guess I have a lovely country. I simply roam around steemit and always people is staying in Malaysia! I'm so happy about it!
Wow! That's amazing.
Where in Malaysia do you live? Im staying in Penang. I love it here.
Would you mind sending me short email to promib.pl@gmail.com? I would love to be able to keep in touch and support each other on Steemit.
I wish there would be more advanced notification system developed by steemit.
No pressure of course :)
Cheers, Piotr
I'm staying Johor! Nearby legoland.
Penang is a good place! I love it too! Just that we had job in here, so we got to move Johor.
Yeahh!!! My pleasure! Yup hope to support each other.

Ok, thank you very much my friend.
You're article is actually much better than most of those that joins @originalworks writing contest. You should really join the next one. If you do, you'll definitely have my support. Anyways, I really enjoyed reading your article.
Thank you for your kind and encoraging words.
The thing is that this post has been done mostly as a tribute to those who put some effort to write about CM.
I will try one day to join @originalworks contest but my goal is mostly to get to know like-minded and valuable people like you and others. Im a social media marketer (not a blogger) so I focus on what I like doing the best = connecting with people :)
Are you planning to join this weekend contest and write about Chimaera ?

Very interesting article. I am glad to see that you are looking hard at the Crowd Machine ICO. Many good questions that deserve answers. Just be careful with ICO's. Unfortunately, most ICO's fail to deliver on promises and deliverables. I will continue to follow this article and subsequent articles as well! Upvoted and resteemed.
Thanks for your kind comment buddy

I also enjoyed reading your post about Crowd Machine. Very well written and informative.
Not to mention that another article related to CHIMAERA is also blowing my mind. Good luck with @originalworks contest.
Take care :)
Excellent summary. I will be following your work closely. I think it will be great learning experience. Keep up the good work. Perhaps, you will enjoy my article on Chimaera. I enjoyed the recap part. Thanks for making world of crypto jargon accessible.

Crowd Machine is designed to break the boundaries surrounding the app creation.
I had no choice but to resteem and upvote
Thank you buddy. Your article about CM was amazing as well. I would be able to create mine if people like you wouldnt write about it in the first place.

Wow, that post was interesting and very well written. All in all, your absolute best by far, in my opinion and others seem to agree from the looks of it. Definitely kept me interested the whole time and I also share the same curiosity about cryptocurrencies, the blockchain, and all decentralized entities with the internet really!! Let me know what you find out from other people's comments if I having to forget to check back soon. I'm glad at least I have one person on my side (you 😉) and I hope a lot of people resteem this! Keep up the excellen blogging, because I needed that motivation to get my butt in gear and start posting a lot of good content and more of it
Thanks for your kind comment. It's very ... motivating and encouraging. The problem is that creating this post took me 5-6 hours of reading, 2 hours of writting and then I had to ask my partner to fix my english. Half of the day gone. But thanks to people like you and encouraging comments I know it's worth it.
I cant expresss how I love steemit community. Comparing to facebook community this place ROCKS! :)

Absolutely. Your post was one of few that impressed me the most. I couldnt NOT quote you.
It's not easy to quote several people and make solid article but I hope I did quite well. I read over 20 articles about CM and I instantly knew that I want to keep in touch with few people and you're one of those few.
Are you joining this week @originalworks contest?
Hope we can stay in touch. Cheers, Piotr (I would be delighted if you could drop me a message on my email I provided you earlier. Keeping in touch with like-minded people is my priority more than anything else).

Yeah I am joining this week contest. I am really happy that you liked my post mate.
About the email well I really don’t use much email these days haha
I've found very fresh public interview with Crowd Machine CEO. Perhaps you will find this video usefull:
Sorry to hear that you're not using email. I wish I could keep in touch with you via PM sometimes. What about fb?
Thanks for the video!
I do have a FB but not very active there neither haha, I don't like they spying on me.
Wow, I'm intrigue by this Crowd Machine.
Is this a hardware or software?
I'm a computer programmer and I'm scratching my head how this Crowd Machine replace a computer programmer???
Hi buddy. What languages are you using as a programmer? just a curiousity.
CM will allow to create apps so it's a software. I dont think it will replace programmers. It's just another tool that will make it easier to create apps.
Cheers, Piotr
I use multiple languges.
PHP, Python, Kotlin...
Thanks for clarifying...
Wow. Very impressive.
I noticed that you're not happy with lack of PM on Steemit :) hehe
(just read your other post).
Without PM is lame.
perhaps you could drop me a message ? promib.pl@gmail.com
I would love to keep in touch and support each other on steemit
Technology is supposed to make our lives better and improves the quality of it. I hope it continues to go that way.
Thx for your comment. I agree that technology is supposted to make our lives better. But also let's face it. Those who cannot keep up with technology changes will stay behind and things will get ugly for many people around the world. Many of us will find ourselfs completly lost.
I just checked your profile and I noticed that we're sharing loads of similar passions.
I will keep following you and you can count on my support here on Steemit. This platform needs great content builders.
Cheers, Piotr
Świetny post, zawierający dużo merytorycznej i przydatnej wiedzy. Fajnie że popularyzujesz ten ciekawy projekt i przy okazji odnosisz spore sukcesy, oby tak dalej ;)
Dzieki wielkie byku.
Ja na codzien zajmuje sie marketingiem online i promuje kilkanascie firm na instagramie, takze mniej wiecej wiem w jaki sposob budowac solidna baze followersow. W ciagu zaledwie 2 tygodni udalo mi sie usiagnac juz calkiem sporo. Mam nadzieje uda nam sie blizej w przyszlosci wspolpracowac bo ten rynek otworzy zapewne wiele mozliwosci. Ja juz dostalem niedawno propozycje bycia "project managerem" dla jednej firmy ze szwajcarii, ktora chce stworzyc wlasna kryptowalute. Dlatego tez Ciebie dopytywalem o umiejetnosci programowania aplikacji pod blockchain. Bo ja raczej nie chce wrocic do programowania i bede szukal ludzi z ktorymi moglbym wspolpracowac.
Takze mam nadzieje kontakt miedzy nami sie nie urwie.
Ps. z jakiego miasta jestes?
super :)
rzuc okiem na moj ostatni post. drobny konkurs staram sie zrobic
