you are tempting me with this post!

have some decentralized fun

Sent. Should be fun. This pot is growing by the minute.

WOW, there is a $25 tip in the pot, you bring good luck

say I tip on Thursday, will I still receive a payout or refund come time Friday

yes

Thank You Nice! I will be participating soon ;)

Sorry for my stupid question - to which address the refund is payed?

the adress it was sent from, shows all the adresses on the blockchain https://blockchain.info/address/14yneYv38kGxiUpEnqXe3aYNEgETanpsCJ

It is safe? I mean I was told to never reuse an address which was used for a payment as receiving address. Or is that just paranoid?

its perfectly safe

How about a "Pot of STEEM" next time ? :)

that's a great idea, you should create it, nobody owns the pot, it's decentralized

Beware guys!! This is totally unsafe and you will end up losing your BTC.

2 days ago, I sent over 0.3 worth of BTC (5 different transactions) to "Pot of Gold" from my Coinbase account (Pot of Gold ran by Trevon James)... For some reason, I never got paid back and after digging into the reason, it turns out that Coinbase sends funds from your account using their own hot wallets... So basically, once you get refunded, the refund goes to Coinbase's hot wallet and NOT to your personal Coinbase wallet!

It is NOT safe at all! I lost more than $300 on this...

Craig, for God's sake you HAVE to educate your viewers about such problems! You have been running your "Pot of Gold" for a couple of months now, and you must be aware of such a thing...

nobody owns the pot of gold, its all on the blockchain
