Feeling like a trader to myself

Despite all the profit made on cryptocurrency, since starting in March, I could have gone from doubling my money to tripling, if not more. That saying buy low and sell high has so much truth. However, there are times you have to take chances, but gut instinct to move on things also goes against good things come to those who wait.
Obviously, this all relates to cryptocurrency being inherently risky, even though its growing. That is the saving grace here....growth equals some forgiveness for the transgressions of hasty transactions. Its kind of like okay, you screwed up your date and lost that potential relationship, but you have enough going for you that other opportunities are presenting themselves and you now have experience to screw it up less.
What can you do to improve not buying too high, through anticipating a bubble? What cheap pump n dump cryptos look great? Should we create a huge index of cryptos to ride the tide to huge returns, like a crypto-mutual fund?

As someone replied to me, just get a boatload of cheap cryptos and wait. I like that philosophy....the philosophy of a true player!
