I love the crypto space. I love keeping up with the latest news, drama, price swings and just everything else that seems to coincide with crypto currency. I'll be the first to admit it, its an addiction. I want to be plugged in 24/7. So for obvious reasons I believe there is a need for a live 24/7 outlet. A radio station that keeps everyone informed and up to date regardless the hour or day. At the moment this does not exist. Yes, we can refresh our latest podcast or youtube subscriptions but is this enough?
This is why I am proposing a community driven, Live 24/7 radio program.
Looking into how to manage such a thing, I did some research and believe radio.co is offering a great solution. This service can integrate multiple user broadcasters, manage schedules, host a website and deploy phone apps. Basically everything we'll need to get the ball started and rolling. Obviously this idea is at the ground level and will take some dedication from several individuals to help build a strong foundation. I'm looking to recruit several people that would be excited to voice their knowledge over the internet. Someone who wouldn't mind reserving an hour a day talking about everything related to crypto. It should be noted all broadcasters are volunteering their time. This is not a paid gig for anyone though I wouldn't care if broadcasters provided donation links.
There are monthly expenses that for the time being I will pick up:
radio.co hosting: $49.00
iPhone app: $15.00
android app: $15.00
Webiste: $12.00
I am setting a goal of August 6th 12:00am EST as our Launch Date. This will give us exactly one week to put together our team of crypto enthusiast. I am linking a public calendar for anyone that wants to keep up to date with our progress. This calendar will also be used to schedule our broadcasters. I look forward to hear everyone's feedback.
