I don't believe Satoshi ever intended for bitcoin or any other alt currency to be a vehicle for a get rich investor scheme. It has to be able to work as an alternative means of payment similar to any other currency for it to survive and thrive.
Governments are talking about banning bitcoin yet are looking for their own version to sell to the sap electorate. Basically, they want control. It is the job of all altcoin users to deny them that control of our own money.
