I wonder if platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Twitter realize yet that they are quickly becoming obsolete? Isn't it just like a big company to refuse to change with the times, as they slowly unknowingly vanishing into the background, all the while scratching their heads wondering wtf just happened... It happened with the music industry, it happened with the print industry, and now its happening with the traditional online industry as well. Good times!

They have no choice but to go down with this ship. It's a trap that companies can't escape once they go public. The stock market has a knife to their throat the whole time if they do anything that threatens to reduce profits.
