i downloaded the smartcash windows desktop wallet and transferred funds there .. My question is am i done now ? i see that there is an option for a paper wallet brain wallet web wallet and that they advise to use either paper or brain wallet . My question is , where are the passwords and how does that work ? anyone can log into my wallet like this on my pc and use my funds ? any info would be appreciated . thx @broncnutz
I use the web wallet and added two factor authentication from google authentication. I don't really like desk top wallets because a good hacker can see it on my desktop. This is just my opinion. To answer your question.....yes you are done as long as the coins are in you rewards or your rewards 2 wallet. If they are in your spending acct, the coins do not qualify for any rewards. If you accidentally put them in your spending wallet it's an easy fix. There is a box inside the wallet that says "is rewards" if you check that box it turns your spending wallet into a rewards wallet as long as you don't move the coins.

Bronc, you said you picked up more Litecoin. Since you just posted this, I hope you got it with this almost 30% haircut it is taking tonight. I'll look at SMART, but I have to admit that I still maintain some crypto speculation. I think I love Steemit, because I can see it and engage with it. I meet people and it adds value to my life. There are thousands of coins and this is the only one that I can say has a direct impact on me.

I think you might be right on the money 💰Smart Cash seems really solid and people will want to fight to get in as soon as possible to start compounding interest and see their money grow. If there is a good time to get in I agree it should be now

Aren't there a lot of coins that stake and have masternodes? Am I wrong? This site shows many of them. While I have a lot to catch up on Smart Cash, it sounds like an under the radar privacy play with value adds and low entry, but I have to try to find out what else it brings to the table vs the plethora of other options.

Oh there are several coins that have master nodes. Most won't let you stake the node though. The voting process on Smart is awesome and let's face it 7% per month is a fat return for passive income,

The Charlie Lee - LTC - FB triangle is very interesting. Thanks for the lead on the SC coin. I'll start digging around to see if it's worth a Hail Mary shot vs holding my current portfolio as is. That would also be a step further not only litecoin, but cryptos in general to be a more stabilized "currency" because imagine the credibility cryptos will start getting from such a huge population of facebook users!! With that userbase, cryptos will be an almost "fiat" currency LOL!!!
Love the info! I'd love to get some before the deadline but it seems the wallet isn't compatible with chrome book? The safest way to store Steem right now is to power it all up on Steemit because it's not liquid to be stolen. Easiest place for you to buy it is blocktrades. Poloniex and Bittrex also sell steem
