I am new to the crypto world, and also a new member of steemit. Let me try to analyze the chart of Steemit and reflect my thoughts of it's price.

-The first increase in value, I would contribute to the exponential growth of Bitcoin (the yellow line on the chart). Steem just benefited from the entire ecosystem growth and grew with it.

-As the value of Bitcoin dropped so did the Steem token. Yet we can see that Steem is growing in strenght compared to Bitcoin. I attribute this to the real world value Steem has brought, which people recognized and have faith in. Value investement is allways the best investing strategy. If you need a living proof, look no further than Warren Buffet and his biography.
