A court in Ahmedabad has declared a former fugitive Nalin Kotia, who has been missing for several years in the Bitcoin case of Rs 12 crore. CID Crime had summoned Nalin Cotadia three times in this regard but he did not appear.
Kotadiya did not take the CID to the crime, and after a long wait, he filed a petition in the court to declare him a fugitive, after which the court pronounced its verdict on Monday declaring former Amreli MLA a fugitive.
A complaint was lodged against CID Crime through Surat's businessman Shailesh Bhatt that Nalin Kotia had teamed up with his nephew and Kirit Palia to kidnap Shailesh Bhatt, in which Shailesh had a share of 12 crores of rupees. Nalin was also of Kotia.
According to CID Crime, the plan to plan the abduction of Shailesh Bhatt was made in Surat and Gandhinagar Circuit House, in which Nalin Kotia was also present.
CID Crime has made several attempts to capture Nalin Kotia and presented the entire investigation to the court. In addition, the warrant was sought under the CRPC 82 to declare Nalin Kotadiya a fugitive in the court.
Now if Kotada does not surrender in 30 days after being declared a fugitive through the court, all their properties will be seized.
