Blockchain Wars: U.S. vs China

For the past couple decades, United States have been the biggest superpower of the world, thanks to it's economy and power of it's currency. However, U.S. dollar has been losing it's power.

No gold backing, and creating currency out of paper, has been becoming a widespread issue, even getting the attention of the mass public, thanks to new information tools.

Bitcoin has only made the situtation worse for this centralized financial system. The system and the institutions who were once looked upon with utmost trust, do not have the same authority they used to have.

Following the vision of Bitcoin, and expanding it to new heights, each and every day we see new cryptocurrencies rise, with one word at their heart: "DECENTRALIZATION".

This word means great things for people who understand the notions behind it: like freedom, justice, and sovereignty from the ruling class!

It also means really ugly things for a very small percent...

For governments like China, decentralization might not sound that great a couple decades ago. However, China is welcoming cryptocurrencies, and the notions behind it really well.

These news are just some insights about the interest level of Chinese government on blockchain technologies:

These are only the tip of the iceberg.

We also know that, most Bitcoin miners are from China, and Chinese hold a great amount of Bitcoin, which has buying power for all the other cryptocurrencies.

While Chinese government is deeply aware that powerhouses like Silicon Valley made U.S. foster even more, it's understandable that they wouldn't want to miss this bandwagon.

This bandwagon is one to not miss. The nation who will help the best blockchain technologies get invented in their territories, will have a massive advantage in acquiring the dominance in the global finance, and other industries accordingly.

I don't think many nations are aware of this fact yet. Only a few of them visualize the power of blockchain technologies, and revolutions it will cause.

And I think, Chinese are very aware of the power Blockchain can bring.

On the other hand, United States, Federal Reserve, IMF, and the biggest superpowers of global finance like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and other corporations are very aware of this fact too.

In fact if you check Goldman Sach's website right now, they have a whole blockchain microsite: they are very well aware of the revolutions that are about to take place. I'm talking about the mainstream adoption, we're not there yet, we're only creating and experiencing the very first few technologies yet.

IMF report calls Bitcoin's blockchain the Internet of Trust

These times are just like the beginning of internet. Very few people use it. Most don't know what it is. And we have yet seen only 0.0000001 % of the reality cryptocurrency technologies will bring into our lives. It's exciting to be a part of this revolution.

The very first days of real human sovereignty....

And, if some nation will try to stop this revolution from happening, they will only miss a lot of opportunuties, and they will very likely regret doing it. Therefore, I believe that U.S. will not try to overregulate cryptocurrencies, because doing it will make a lot of opportunuties being lost.

Fear from centralized institutions and banks can only affect those very same institutions and banks very badly in the long run.

Most cryptocurrency adopters and pushers think that U.S. will go to massive regulations.

But I don't think this will be the case. Alienating U.S. citizens from an open world, an open finance, and other benefits will very likely escalade to problems rather than nation-wide benefits.

And United States can't risk China winning the blockchain wars. This kind of an event will have massive influence on global dynamics.

Whoever wins this war, they will have to play fair, and this is all great stuff for the humanity, for the free world, and for a new way of living.

So this war will be for the humanity, not against it. The best war ever!
