blockchain is nothing by itself. Its not the core principle of bitcoin.
Blockchain technology will be one of the things that changed the world. Bitcoin is not the best cryptocurrency out there. It has huge potential but I don't like where it's going at the moment. Hopefully things get better.

Engine did change the world, before and after it has been put in to a car! Engines today are not the same ones as they were before, we have many different ones for different purposes. We find better and better ways to use engines all the time, why wouldn't we do that with blockchain?
Bitcoin is just scratching the surface of blockchain.
But let's not forget that we are on the same side. We are not enemies.
