Hi Everyone,
August 1st of 2017 will be remembered as the day the Bitcoin Fork occurred. All the uncertainty of the past month will now be over and we can finally sleep easier at nights knowing that the market can be stable once more..or can we?
What did it change with the fork exactly?
For me personally nothing changed, because I placed all my BTC to alt-coins a few days before the fork happened. I was certain that alt-coins will rice dramatically after the bit-fork which it did happen. Some of the coins I was in went up by 40% (Ark) and others went up less (Steem). But I shall be honest, I never saw the Bitcoin Cash increasing like that, I had the impression that everyone will dump it as soon as it hits the market to make some quick cash to put in alt-coins.
Crypto-world is a ruthless one, everyone is trying to make money, and that is normal. But in order for that to happen people will have to lose money as well. Making the right choices is what separates the great investors form the good and bad ones. A great investor/trader will predict and only buy a coin at the beginning or a rise, a good one may ride the waive early and the bad one will buy at top and sell at the first dip panicking.
What I am trying to say is that opportunities like Bitcoin fork will present themselves again, be mindful with your investing and do not sell at a loss. I made that mistake 4 times and I will regret it for the days to come. When you are new you make stupid mistakes jumping from a falling coin to a rising one, only to see that one fall and the other rise... Make that mistake a few times and you will end up with $0!
It is ok to make mistakes, we all do, but learn from them! We are Survivors! We survived Bitcoin Fork Day! We can do Better!
