It can exceed that,steemit is a social media platform and its currency can be said to be steem....and steemit has a great potential to dominate over the world
Hence:the higher the dominance of steemit...the higher the usage and demand of steem...infact it can beat bitcoin in the future!!

Do not know that, but it sure has a lot more potential. My speculation is at least 12 USD, but that could still take a while.
