RE: Am I Still Investing in Cryptocurrencies Every Month?

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

Did you know Richard Branson has a history of crime through fraud and misrepresentation for financial gain? Do you think he stopped? Don't be naive and think the rich and powerful won't manipulate systems for financial gains. They do it all the time.

The whose who of Bitcoin meets at his Island and then proceeds to hype the hell out of Bitcoin for six months with ridiculous forecasts. Bitcoin price started surging after the get together. Bitcoin surges to $20,000 before Christmas with circular flows and neophyte suckers going all in. The players cash out before Christmas safe. Some now declaring Bitcoin is dead with no regret for hyping it up and letting the small investors crash and burn while they cashed out at the right time?

Saw it coming and cashed out before the crash / price correction. Zeroed out my BTC holdings. Nobody believed it would fall by half in less than a month. Obvious what some of these people were doing and they are not hyping it up anymore while celebrating with their gains. I called him out on what I saw on Linked In as well. Monitored some bitcoin addresses with large and fast accumulating balances and cashed out when they did. Made sense that they would cash out for the holiday. Plus the cost of circulation over a long period of time to increase BTC volume would be costly in the long run. Guess I can thank them for the new computer and music gear, but I would be pissed if I fell for the hype and lost. Movement of BTC at the peak caused many exchanges to go down and some halted operations.

Was Bitcoin designed to be the engine of a perfect crime? Maybe not, but the volume was most definitely manipulated to artificially inflate the price. Large holders cashed out in mass.

As far as hush money... Maybe that was paid out to Richard Branson's Motorboat victim? He escaped from the #metoo movement rather quickly without the impact it had on many other pigs in Hollywood and Government.

Anyway, I bet they will try it again... Could be another currency. Watch what surges and track down the large holders and monitor closely to not get burned in the future. Just hope they keep their hands off Steem.

Some of these people are scared. Arming up and looking for places to lay low too. Wouldn't be surprised if some of them go down with greed at the hands of a large investor or criminal enterprise that may have had an assured stake in it and lost. Maybe the pump and dump engine will start again to settle with the angry with power...
