RE: SOAKING UP THE DAY

Lovely image of Snowball. I like all the threads in your article Stephen. And your word 'cryptocreative.'

Yes, for years people have been conditioned to share their content on social media outlets without considering that it should be compensated in some way. Wonderful to see the shift occuring now with platforms such as Steem and Compumatrix. To me this indicates that the time and effort that goes into blogging and commenting, sharing images and videos is valued.

It's a funny thing, but many do not value what they do until they see that others show their appreciation of what they have done. Being rewarded for a post, even if it's only minimal can give our self-esteem a boost, so that in a very subtle way it will impact on whatever 'work' we do next.

I've also been observing another shift that's occuring with some of the creatives on Steemit. A shift towards using Creative Commons, whereby artists still retain copyright and work is actually registered as being freely available under 6 different categories. It works for both the creative as well as those who like to make use of their work, without changing the image/sound or in collaboration. 🦋
