In a sea of red 📉 why is this Crypto up 📈 Metal (MTL)

in #cryptocurrency8 years ago

Two days ago I found a crypto that just started trading on Bittrex Metal (MTL)

So if you have followed me over the past month you know that I'm always on the look for cryptos that I can trade with via my Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader . I usually set it up so it can give me at least 20% return on my trade but also ensure that if the price of a particular crypto drops below 10% it will do an automatic sell.

For this particular token I decided to trade half and keep half.

Performance

The Volume is insane for a coin that just started trading a couple of days ago. $39,806,872 at the time of this post.

The chart is pretty interesting to as it seems that there is more room to grow.

Why is there so much volume?!?!

Well i went looking for answers and their coinmarketcap page only had a link to the explorer.

This raised a red flag for me because no bitcointalk page or website seems fishy. However from the explorer I saw that it was yet again another etherum token. However this did lead me to their website where i got more information about the project and also the reason for all of the hype early on.

Vinny Lingham is a South African entrepreneur who is big in the cryptocurrency scene. Traders are speculators and even though Metal has an interesting project I think people are jumping on this because of Vinny.

Please do your own due diligence before trading and only invest what you are willing to lose. As always thanks for reading and keep steemin!!!

Unfortunately there is no way to purchase metal. What exchange is it listed on? This volume must be completely internal, which makes sense given the premise of metalpay is texting money around the world (which isn't new tech anyways).

It is on bittrex.com

Also Vinny is an advisor, that means he is nothing more than a voice on the phone to this project. The team are the ones building it. You don't invest in people. You invest in a project. The best quarterback in the world couldn't win a game by himself, even Vitalik Beuterin couldn't build Ethereum on his own.

I agree that you invest in a project however day traders are speculators. I'm gonna watch this one to see where it goes.
