There are thousands of altcoins out there but I've been having this question in mind if there is a possibility for Dogecoin to reach $1 USD value in the near future or maybe at least 0.00001000 BTC. I've seen Dogecoin increased its price from 16 sat to 110 sat last December 2017. I am actually planning to buy may be around 50,000 in the next coming months once price went down below 40 sat. Below is the current price of Dogecoin.
I also reviewed its graph and for the past few years, the highest value in terms of BTC is only around 0.00000270 BTC last Feb 2014. It's been almost 4 years now and it seems that it hasn't break its highest peak yet.

Personally I don't believe it'll reach $1.00 per coin. The coin has not had any changes in over 2 years and even the founder of doge himself is surprised people are investing in the coin. Market cap is currently sitting at $765 million it's market cap would be about $75 billion in order to reach a $1.00. However Doge coin does have a strong community, and if it keeps getting treated as a speculative investment who knows maybe it can reach $1.00, but personally i think $1.00 is a little far fetched.
