what interests me today is the optherium project. It is a cryptocurrency project, of course. We'll, lately it seems this is my only hobby, beside hitting the gym and going to work.
Right now, Optherium is in "launching" state, better known as ico (initial coin offering). What this means is that if one wants to, he can invest some money into the project, buying its token coin. They are from Estonia, so we are talking "European quality project" here, not the usual China-made shady stuff.
Right now, they have a very nice website ( you can reach it here https://optherium.io ), and, you wouldn't believe it, a working APP! Yes, you heard that right: a new crypto project that is not yet on the market and already have a working product. I have been interested in the crypto space for more than a year now, and believe me, it is something uncommon to see a new coin/token with a working project. Heck, not even 10% of the top 100 coins on coinmarketcap has a working product.
You can check the app on Android and Google play store, it is called VIVUSPAY https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.optherium.wallet
It works as a wallet for the optherium coin, as a coin tracker for main cryptos, and its ultimate goal is to let you be your own bank.
On a sweet note, it gives you 10 dollars worth of optherium, if you join now during this early stage (check the instructions on bitcointalk forum).
On a more technical note: what really is optherium?
Citing the homepage of the official website, "Optherium’s Operating System and MultiDecentralized Private Blockchains Network™ fundamentally changes blockchain technology, making it highly usable for banking and finance industry."
So, basically, they are trying to embrace the regulatory pressure that lately is choking many cryptocurrencies. I think this is the right direction. It is unthinkable a world where blockchain could totally avoid control of governments, so... When you can't beat them, befriend them. And this is what optherium is do in, in Avery professional way.
