In any field there are unlucky people... these are the kind of people who lose a winning lottery ticket.

This user sent 2000, yes 2000 Ether to 0x0. That is a value of over two million dollars.

This user was an early adopter of Bitcoin, and burnt .3 Bitcoins to different addresses. Why people burn Bitcoin is beyond me, but this user surely regrets those lost BTC.

Similar to #1, this user tried to use split and forgot to input an address. You'd think they'd double check when dealing with 1.3k Ether, but apparently not.

This user sent 800 Bitcoin to a Mt Gox address. Fortunately the Bitcoins were returned, but in the mean time, they thought they were down 800 Bitcoins.

This is more well known. Parity lost thousands of Ethereum after someone managed to call the kill() function on their wallet. In the future, make sure to actually initialize wallets for library addresses so no one else can.
