I did some research on burst, it's a coin that you can acctually mine with free hard drive space. This is a really innovative way of mining called proof of capacity (POC). The best thing about this is that the energy cost is minimal compared to complex computational calculations.
As stated above the way this coin works is better for miners, holders and the environment. Check out the picture below to see how big this difference in power consumption acctually is. I did not believe my eyes at first.
This makes it so that miners have a way lower power consuption, so by that the mining is more profitable.
When cryptocurrencies and mining become mainstreem, this will make the perfect solution for a greener and a more sustainable crypto use.
So if you got some free drive space or you got a old hard drive laying around, why not use it to mine. The costs are almost 0 so you can't lose money on it.
All of this combined with a 4 minute block time, the ability to create smart contracts, a great community and a great team behind it makes it a really solid coin in my opinion. As of now I don't own any burst... I plan on buying some in the near future. What do you guys think of this coin, will it be the next ethereum? Why do people say this so much? 1 tip don't do this... just make good content and then ask if they want to take a look, if they like it they will upvote. It's not that hard to understand this is not the way to go. Also don't use steemit only for the money i wont work like that
