New to Crypto

in #cryptocurrecy7 years ago

So I am new to Crypto but so far I have been successful.

The learning process is fun as long as your sensible, the biggest thing I have learned is don't jump in when a coins starts rising rapidly or pumped as the market calls it, as I had my fingers burned a little when trying to sell it.

Another thing I have learned is do your own research and listen to some rumours but try and get some evidence to back it up. DGB is a classic example, this skyrocketed then fell sharply, I was not too concerned as the only currency I have left in is profit from an initial investment. However that leads me to another point.

I was trying to take 20-30% gains on the currency I was investing in then moving on to the next, however I have slightly changed strategies as these coins can go a lot more that 20-30% so I just take the original out and leave the profit in, as if does sKy rocket, I am not totally out of it, I do not know if this the right way to invest or not but this does build the portfolio of coins up.

I am taking profit and kinda leaving all my gains in LTC and ETH and this working well for me so far as the month I have being doing this I have seen a 60-70 profit. I am willing to take any advise that people would like to pass or criticism if its that.

Sort:

I have used that strategy for a long time but not on crypto since its pretty new for me but for example on the Swedish stockmarket I have used the strategy where i leave the profit and take out my initial investment (sometimes i take some profit out also if it went really well).
