WHAT VAST MAJORITY OF PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT ETHEREUM (ETH)

A lot of people talk about bitcoin(BTC) and ALT(alternative)coins
i.e ethereum, Dash, Ripple etc to mention a few. Have you ever asked yourself how is this possible with digital currencies like cryptocurrencies, I will be forcing on two coins BITCOIN (BTC) and ETHEREUM (ETH).
WILL ETHEREUM SUPPASS BITCOIN?

     Before we get into Ethereum let’s talk about BTC and then make a connection to ethereum, because that way it will be easy for us to understand what Ethereum is all about and why it will surpass bitcoin.

What is BITCOIN? Bitcoin (BTC) is a decentralized applicatiojn for transferring values i.e I can send some btc to my friend, so in that way am transferring values from me to my friend and the whole beauty of this is that the system is DECENTRALIZED, there is no central intermediary that takes my money and give it to my friend as I send the value to him, just like the banks.

        When I send my btc from my wallet to my friend, the value goes through the blockchain without any intermediary. Now the question is             HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

        How can this transaction work without someone checking that the transaction is correct and successful? It works, because bitcoin is a blockchain technology, meaning by using cryptography and by harshing algorithms, we can make sure that my transaction is correct and successful. The whole mechanism is built on mathematics and harshing functions. That is what bitcoin is all about.

Now back to Ethereum. WHAT IS ETHEREUM (ETH)?

      This is also a blockchain technology, however the main difference is that with ethereum you can build a bitcoin application for transferring values, YES that’s just the fact, but that’s not all.

     You can build a social network, you can also build a decentralized Wikipedia, in fact you can build whatever you like because the programming language used in ethereum is like a JAVA or C++ or JAVA SCRIPT meaning that you build anything you like with ethereum, all the transactions,logic and codes that you write will be executed in a decentralized manner on the blockchain. Just like how the bitcoin network works, when I send value their will be no intermediary, meaning that if you will like to build the next facebook on ethereum, this social network will not have any central player, all the users will communicate p2p (peer 2 peer), that is why ethereum is organizing a foundation of developers conference. 

The first introduction of the first Ethereum Foundation event in Asia. The Foundation’s “devcon” is designed to be a conference by developers for developers, any and all who are interested in the research and development of the Ethereum platform, tools, and technologies are welcome to attend! The took place (September 19, 20, 21) will be a featured conference at the international week in Shanghai by Wanxiang blockchain Labs, the host organization in China

Now ethereum is introducing the second ethereum foundation event in mexico , called DEVON3 (NOV 1-4 2017) in CANCUN MEXICO.

The Foundation is pleased to continue to provide the main developers conference in the Ethereum space for a community that stands out for its shared vision, drive, enthusiasm, and involvement in both community driven open source projects as well as rapidly growing ones taking shape in many other sectors including business, trade, industry, government, education and more.

Well this foundation is for aspiring developers and others who may contribut to the growing and valuable pipeline for innovation and implementation, As a developers conference, Devcon3 programmingis designed to help inform,educate, update and address interests of the Ethereum R&D community, including those who are in learning about the technology to become developers or visit to know more about Ethereum development and projects supported by the foundation as well Ethereum innovation and development being undertaken in the greaterd ecosystem. So it is a great news ahead for ethereum holders.
