The next ponzi scheme taking gullible people by storm.

in #crypto7 years ago (edited)

It is always a sad day for me to log into youtube and see the next great get rich quick promotions blasted by all the promoters. BTCclock.io the next great ponzi scheme...... promising 4% daily returns. Not only can't we achieve anything like this in the real world with all of our banks but BTCclock makes Bitconnect look like the most valid trustworthy company in the world with only giving a measly 1% daily interest. BTCclock lets you start with a super low $10 investment unlike Bitconnect that has to start with $100.

At 4% daily interest compounding you would have around $9 Million in 1 year worth of reinvested capital. This smells LEGIT from all directions. This is before you dwell into the referral system or pulling your money out. I heard a few people put in some money and able to pull it out but honestly the person that created this site has some massively big COJONES to make a site like Bitconnect look legit from all angles. The funny thing is from the views, comments and already successful referrals made by watching just a few known youtubers promoting it..... the ponzi schemer has made a killing.

Maybe the next best thing isn't Facebook or instagram or crowdfunding or gofundme its ponzifunding. We should all just make a ponzi site and within a week walk away with a cool million.

Anyways just my 2 cents on this I'd stay away but I'd also love to be proved wrong about my gut feeling on this site.

Dang @ulyssesamg, don't forget "if it sounds to good to be true, then it's not true".
I lost about $1000 on BitcoinsBrain, posted about it today. What is interesting to me personally, was that I continued believing there was some kind of mistake up to two weeks after they quit paying. I was completely gullible.

HA, the ponzifunding is funny, lol. Yep, we could make a cool million, but we would lose our integrity...and that's priceless.

Deeply sorry that you lost some $ mate. That's why I couldn't keep my mouth shut, youtube is full of scammers with no integrity ready to take your hard earned cash. Steemit members on the other hand maybe they can help unite everyone together to finally burst this bubble of daily ponzi/pyramid schemes

It does seem like everyday there is a new coin related ponzi or MLM scheme. I was unfortunately lured into gladiacoin. Lost a good chunk of change. I will won't make that mistake again.

We all fall for the fairy tale dream here and there, moral is hopefully we learn from it and help others from our experience.

I am sure you have seen videos from "Alonso Alonso". I can't stand how he blatantly lies. He is in my mind just as bad as the creators of these scams. He jumps from one scam to another and deletes his videos promoting the no longer running scams. I have reported him to Youtube multiple times but he's still making videos so it hasn't worked...... yet.

Very good blog. I fully understand what you're talking about. The trustworthiness of the crypto is based on: A solid team, product, advisors, preferably VC investors, etc. Sell all cryptos that don't have this solid background. It's a waiste of money. Besides coinmarketcap.com there is: https://www.coincheckup.com. This site gives a complete analysis and investment stats on every single tradable crypto out there.
