Two tipes of Japanese crypto traders.
Hello,I'm Japanese crypto trader living in Tokyo for 22 years. You know that Japan is the country with the world's most transaction volume of crypto currencies.
I have a lot of traders around me.
Recently I realized that they can be broadly divided into two kinds of traders.
Active traders and inactive traders.
Active Traders
Active traders collect information every day, anticipate price movements, and move assets. What is distinctive of them is that they are fighting alone without being crowded with others. The reason is that it will be beneficial for them to arrive at useful information earlier than others and to move assets.
High information gathering ability makes it possible for them to behave that way. Also, since they make profit the top priority, it is not important which crypto currency they own.
In my sense, they account for 30% of Japanese cryptographic currency traders.
Inactive Traders
An inactive crypto currency trader accounts for about 70% of the rest. They are just beginning to trade and they are not good at collecting information.
Also, in Japan's working environment, there are not many people who have time to gather information for trading. Also, the fact that many white papers are written in English is a factor they can not access their useful information.
For that reason, they are often ridiculed as "情弱(Jō-jaku)" in Japanese. Therefore, they are seeking Japanese information that can be gathered without any effort.
Then.....They tend to buy certain cryptographic currencies (ex.$XRP $XEM $LSK) and HOLD whether they are profitable or not.
Why do they buy $XRP,XEM and $LSK?
The thing in common between these three is that it is listed on the Japanese popular exchanges "coin check" and that the visual price is cheaper than other brands of "coin check".
Then the reason is that inactive traders believe in the words of people and organizations saying that they will rise in the future.
Inactive traders trust the assertion that $XRP, $XEM and $LISK are still cheap, so buy it now ''.
The reader of this article will examine various factors such as total issue volume, supply volume, demand and dividend to judge the price of the crypto currency. Then, you will buy it after you determine the best timing.
However, since they place importance on visual prices, they dream that $XRP, $XEM or $LISK will rise to the same price as bitcoins some day. Some even think that they can not buy bit coins unless they have $3900.
I do not think buying these crypto currency is a bad thing. However, although the crypto currency was born under the idea of Trustless, I feel a sense of incompatibility against the situation where many Japanese people have bought it by trusting others' words.
It might be like a lie, but in Japan this kind of thing happens in reality.
How about in your country?
*This post does not condemn the particular crypt currency or Organization.
Thank you for reading!!
Nice post i didn't know that they didn't have white papers in Japanese it seems like they should have someone translate it because japan is the biggest market for cryptos and they would probably be able to make more money from ICOs if the people understand what they're buying into.
Thanks!!
I think so, too! There is a Google translation, but technical terms are still difficult. So we need human resources who are familiar with technology and language.
Then, simultaneously with the development of cryptos, Japanese also have to grow.
