This is not a Byteball initial coin offering (ICO), nobody calls it like this and Byteball has been out for over 1.5 years and never had an ICO.

Some call it Byteball airdrop, which is more accurate, but still not quite right because most airdrops are given to random addresses based on how much they already have some other cryptocurrency.

It is Steem account attestation on Byteball (with rewards) because you get your steem/username alias for your Byteball address and you get rewarded for it because there are still funds in distribution fund (all Byteball will be distributed to user in different methods, Steem attestations is just one of them).
