The first part of the TON block-platform, launched by Telegram, is one of the most anonymous messengers, ready. The other day the developers of the project presented a new service called Telegram Passport, which is designed to store personal data and identify the users' identities.
The service will be able to download all the necessary data so that the messenger can check them and redirect them to partner services. All this will be possible with the consent of the client. Also, the developers promise that the documents will be protected by two-factor authentication and encryption.
Information about the user can include the following data: passport, passport, taxpayer's code, utility bills, bank accounts, driving license and several other documents. The entire list of the project team has not yet been announced. Also, it remains a secret which data will be mandatory.
These data will allow customers to perform crypto-currency transactions, which, according to the media, will be deprived of anonymity. According to rumors, thus Telegram provides itself with freedom in terms of selecting financial partners and interacting with them. So, in the project plans the cooperation with the payment operator Qiwi.
The new service, according to the developers, will work already this summer, however, according to the road map Telegram Passport was supposed to be launched in the first quarter of this year. But a viable version of the Telegram Open Network platform may be ready by the end of the second quarter, but so far there is none.
