INVESTMENT IN CRYPTOCURRENCY IN 2021

This has been answered generally all over the place, so it’s probably worth it to just look through the cryptocurrency space through the past posts for lots of information on this question.

In a more direct answer: Yes.

First, are you too late? No, likening this to a baseball game, we are only in the 1st or possibly 2nd inning of Crypto’s overall lifetime, whereas the legacy financial systems are more like in the first half of the 9th inning. Sure, you weren’t the earliest, but you absolutely are in time for some great things.

The following reasons I believe you should invest are threefold:

It’s a newer space with tremendous potential, many in and out of the space have likened it to a technology with more impact than even the Internet itself had. Blockchain is fantastic, and everyone who’s anyone will be rushing to leverage it for anything they can. This includes huge institutions, and governments with their digital currency rollouts by the way!
Bitcoin and the other Cryptos are showing to be a very good store of value. On top of that, the good Cryptocurrencies are deflationary in nature, and will only grow in value with their ever scarcer supply. It’s just a superior way to do currency transactions and ledgers. Your investment will grow, over the long term, and most people today consider this the best investment you can make this decade. Consider that the company Microstrategy has invested in a huge way in Bitcoin, and that the country of El-Salvador has made it legal tender by law! Other Latin-American countries are likely to follow.
With countries deep in debt and printing money out of control, inflation is stealing your savings and impacting your life. Anything you put into a non-commodity, non-crypto investment is tied to their Fiat currencies which are devaluing at a frightening rate. This is why wall street firms are buying up Crypto en-masse partly because they wish for a hedge against this. If Fiat keeps losing value as it does, Crypto or commodities like Gold or Oil, or Real Estate might be the only things to retain their value.
So that’s my take on it overall. I have been in this space since 2010 and have not regretted it for an instant. Too many people want to get huge profits RIGHT NOW, in my opinion that’s a bad mindset, if you are going to do this make sure it’s over 5–10 years. While you could make huge money nearly instantaneously with the right pick, or with the right timing, it’s simply easier and safer to just “go long”.

Given that many projections from many institutions and smart people in the space have Bitcoin anywhere from 500k USD to 12 Million USD in 10 years, that’s an insane return. Lastly, anyone can afford it, most cryptocurrencies are fractional, meaning like the dollar with the penny, you can buy a small amount of it even if it’s main unit is a huge price.

Good Luck!
