My 2 Cents About Investing In Crypto

in #crypto7 years ago

For me, the primary focus is on the tech and the team behind it. By tech I mean the idea and the technology of the project I'm considering investing in. The team is the one that has to bring the idea to life. Even the best idea will crumble in the hands of an incompetent team.

I entered the crypto space few months ago and from the start it was evident to me that it was too late to get in on Bitcoin. On one hand, at that time Bitcoin was overpriced and the tech behind it seemed to be outdated when compared to the likes of Etherium, Litecoin, ect...

I was quickly introduced to day-to-day trading and I realized that my time is insufficent to adopt this strategy. From the start I intuitively had faith in the idea of blockchain as the future of money and internet. My degree in economics gave me a broad idea of the faults of today's system of money and governance and how the idea of blockchain wanted to improve it.

My strategy is finding a blockchain project, doing my research, waiting for a good entry point, buy and hodl. I'm in it for the long run with the faith that some of this projects will become the new standard in their respected fields. Every month I invest an amount I'm willing to loose.

At the end the good technology will survive. No matter what resistance. The tech will overcome.
