What is Lisk?

Lisk makes it possible for developers to develop their own blockchain applications and to publish them with their own blocks and side chains. Lisk is also seen as an open source platform. You can then get started with developing applications when you are familiar with JavaScript. It works simply, quickly and reliably. As far as we are concerned, a very good and safe platform!

Difference between Lisk and Ethereum

Besides the fact that Lisk calls her apps 'decentralized applications' and Ethereum calls them 'Dapps', there are a number of other larger differences.

Lisk uses JavaScript as a written language and Ethereum uses Solidity.

Lisk uses side chains to store applications, while Ethereum keeps applications on the main chains.
