Why does REMME want you forget about the use of passwords?

However, with the rise of IT technologies scammers received the access to top-notch equipment that allows matching, duplicating or simply stealing users’ passwords via different methods. Also, most people use the same passwords for all their account to remember them in a better way. This is another human factor used by scammers to break into multiple accounts of a user at once.

REMME gives you another solution – applying of a signed and verified certificate that will generate new passwords each time when you need to log in on the website. Is it possible to apply REMME on a mobile phone?
Mostly, REMME provides the corporate solutions. A user can apply REMME tools and solutions on your mobile device, but the web service provider of this device must integrate the REMME’s tech to their network. REMME’s main goal is to assist businesses of different spheres – especially, those corporations that operate on centralized servers and keep their personal data of users (like passwords, names and phone numbers, etc).

Will REMME work for many users who apply the one corporate network/device?
It’s allowed to apply SLL certificates and accounts in an unlimited amount on the same devices. REMME offers to build few certificates for users who using the same desktop OS. In such way every user will be able to apply its own account with certain permission limitations. If a single device is applied by multiple users, a 2FA activation is required.

Does the REMME service support the distant access?
You can download the certificate, install on it on another device but your home PC, then sign up to your online account and delete the certificate. But REMME doesn’t recommend using such scheme because the certificate can be stolen. It is better to apply specific one-time certificates that are not transferred to other devices. In future, REMME plans to build solutions for a safe distant access by means of certificates.
