Veteran hodlers have more leeway :-) but personally im am exactly the same, the last thing i want to do is sell any coin! Buy that Eth baby! And like you say @scandinavialife its a good thing they will try to regulate it instead of banning it,i read a while ago somewhere that cryptos will be listed on wall street

In Norway though, you actually have to pay tax on every trade. In theory, even if you convert SBD to STEEM, that trade must be taxed. Actually, according to current tax-laws, every upvote you make you should keep track off and pay tax on. I'm not kidding. :)

OMG!🙈

I can already see the Norwegian tax auditor sitting at your kitchen table counting through all of your upvotes @scandinavianlife!😂

lol. You know what they are doing? They are not that clever, but pretty clever. This is my (conspiracy)"theory" but to be honest it seems to be a 95% legit assumption.

They make the mainstream media post a hell of a lot of FUD on cryptos. Then they wait for people to strike back. Then they keep track of people trying to protect cryptos.

And I know for a fact that they have people on crypto-groups on facebook. They aren't even trying to hide it. And people openly brag about their holdings there.

Another method they catch people with is when msm posts articles on cryptos on their facebook page - people often TAG cryptohodlers and write things like; "Lars..you're rich now aren't you?"

In a way that is involuntary informing on people. They are just using people's sheep-mentality to catch hodlers.

You might as well be living in a communist country @scandinavianlife.

I don't think the tax officials in North Korea go to the extremes you just highlighted.😮

Yes..well, make no mistake. Norway is pure communism/socialism with a "smile". Our standards of living is quite high - but remember, our productivity is off the wall. If we had lower taxes and more incentive for innovation we'd probably be more technologically advanced than Japan.

But even though we're granted some freedoms, our government is socialist. They use any methods imaginable to find people who leech off the welfare system, they tax people who work incredibly high, they steal children and there is almost no acceptance of living differently in any way. It's wrong to be rich and it's wrong to be poor. Everyone should just be consensus-driven middle class politically correct sheep.
