RE: Bias

Well, I think blockchain and crypto are here to stay. Although, without knowing much about the technicals behind it all, I wonder how it will be sustainable as a blockchain grows. I assume there’ll be layers upon layers and eventually it all becomes a tangly mess. A bit like with all these apps, sites, bots and add-ons people a building. You get lost in it all. We have so many choices, so many things to learn. I know I really need to sit down and properly understand the technology, to read up on the its appplication, and then I’ll have a better understand how it can solve real world problems. At the moment, it’s all too hard to find the time, especially when we are inundated with even more choices. It’s overwhelming. Lucky you, who can cut through a lot of the noise and identify the quality. It’s one of the reasons I value your blog.

I’m biased to Steem, because I’ve spent enough time on the platform to see how it works. It’s proven technology, but I can see the adoption remain difficult for many. And even when people get past the technical, many will eventually be downtrodden by the social aspect. Such is the life of social media.

A part of me can’t imagine we’d all get rich from STEEM. That whichever way you look at it, it’ll be a hard slog because we’re past the early adoption phase. Maybe it’s because it’s tied to content, and psychologically, there’s a mental cap we apply to it. I think what I expect from STEEM is long term stability. That it’s not a currency that people will abandon, because we’re all addicted to social media even though we bitch and moan about it.

I feel like I’ve gone off on a tangent replying to your post again. Sorry....lol
