New telephonic scam

I was just informed about a brand new crypto scam and I would like to write it here so that more people become aware.

Just a couple of days after Binance announced they exceeded 300 million users (which practically means that appx 3% of people have a Binance account), we should know that even more scams will be created and many of them will be specifically for Binance users, as it is more likely to find a Binance user in a group of people.

The scam is this:
A number (that seems local most probably (will call you and you will here an automated message telling you about an un-authorized transaction and inviting you to press #1 if it was not you who did the transaction. If you do not click on anything, the message repeats itself.

If the user clicks on #1, then another English person (with a common scammer accent from specific countries) will talk to you and tell you to provide your codes to check the transaction in app.

What you will need to do.

1. Nothing. Hang up the phone and if you are unsure, click your Binance account to see your total amount and transactions history. If you want, contact support to inform them of the incident and to potentially provide them with the telephone number.

2. Let your Crypto pals know, especially if they are new in space, so that they will be extra careful.

3. Remember to stay cautious and always skeptical.

Noone will ask you for seed phrases or passwords, when it comes to any app, make sure to log in the app itself and talk with the customer service. Dont rush into actions or transactions without verifying first.

This scam has already happened 3 times in a few hours timeframe, in Greece.

Having said that, I would like to mention that I have received two calls in the past by someone who calls directly from the Blockchain and I have forgotten a few BTC there .. so I have to take it back by paying some fees :P Have you received such calls?
