Since the arrival of the internet our lives have changed in a fast and overwhelming way. We have witnessed changes in this that range from the appearance of rudimentary modem to the current effective optical fibers that allow us to connect from our mobile phones, printers, Gps, Smart Tv and a multitude of electronic devices that have this functionality. But we have not yet reached the ceiling with this Internet, this is just the beginning of a new era. Every day there are more and more advances in this field that for some years now is already talking about the IOT (Internet of Things) that more than a bet for the future at present has begun to be an absolute reality.
What exactly is the IOT and what will it offer us?
We could define the Internet of things as the revolution of the relationship between people and conventional objects and even between the same objects connected through a network using the Internet. In other words, it is about the digitization of the physical world or the interconnection to the network and the synchronization of objects between them to offer a much fuller and more efficient service so that technological advances allow us to make our life more comfortable and safe in different areas.
To give shape to this abstract concept we can give as an example:
Imagine a refrigerator that would be able to warn us when it loses temperature or indicate to us that some food has expired.

emergencies, devices that alert us before suffering an asthma crisis.
With their pro's and con's today the big companies are already working on the Internet of things and bringing their projects to reality. Billions of intelligent devices will be connected to the Internet in the future, this indicates us that a great capacity of load is required. The general architecture of IoT is based on cloud computing. The speed of response depends on the calculation of the servers and the data are processed through cloud computing and the centralized method, so if it continues to be used it would not allow us to respond in time to the requests of the large number of devices that demand it.
