Hi, i doubt a large Muslim investor came in right at the time of the announcement, unless that investor was the cleric himself.

A buy order just needs to get the price above the stop loss.. the short interest had increased to an all time high. A buy order just needs to trigger the stop loss. . Hence a short squeeze. Thats what i think happened.
