How do you protect yourself, well you can't, trading leaves everyone wide open to this volatility. Bitcoin Cash internal disputes, hard forks, crazy media reporting has spooked everything into a spiraling downward affect, best not to read media right now, they normally guessing, your guess is as good as theirs!

Happy the worst affected is the one that caused the mayhem, both Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Futures arrived on the market, neither peeked my interest due to the manner of entry. Sadly most other projects have been affected by internal battles which should not happen in technology, good projects deserve support, greed is more often than not frowned upon.

Good to join in crypto, learning on smaller crypto to/from exchanges is the best way to go about getting to know the in's and out's, any crypto you stand to lose from time to time, no one is exempt.
Kryptonia is a great place to share tasks, blogs, facebook posts, twitter news, Instagram anywhere on the web to attract more people. Sharing out you paying people by using crypto, Superior Coin SUP, doing tasks for others you are earning, just one small idea as to why many use this system within the blogging fraternity including people here in Steem, most probably the most popular place people send you via tasks.

I have two cryptocurrencies at this time. Both I have earned by work on the computer. I enjoy doing that. I will not buy any cryptocurrency because I do not know which one if any will be worth it in the long run. I like gold and silver for that.
With everything happening at the moment, crypto is being jerked around by big players. Gold and silver also been a bumpy ride, perhaps we like the idea of assets with set values, just venturing out of a comfort zone from time to time.
I have only invested my time (which is precious) but yeah, will continue .. for now... enjoying it a bit too much maybe haha

Everybody is trying to watch the positive impacts of bakkt. But institutional saw it in a different way to enter the markets when bakkt or ETF is live. That is the reason we are facing this. Don't panic. Do SIP Monthly. Thats it.
Time will tell, still firmly believe digital money will become a massive player in the next couple of years, institutions still navigating new technology.

Crypto will probably go back up maybe next year or the year after - we'll see.
Good projects will survive and in my opinion BTC, Steemit and SuperiorCoin are good projects.
