I am very new to the whole crypto business and am extremely new to the mining industry.
A lot of this new tech takes a while to make it out to the bushdown here in Australia. I have invested in a few different coins (Ethereum ANS, Ripple) but am now looking at mining.
My main questions are:
*What is/are the best programs to use for mining? In terms of ease of use and value per day?
*What are the disadvantages/ negative aspects of mining? (if any)

If you're just CPU mining start with Monero (XMR). It's currently undervalued, worth mining and holding for a while. Check out xmr_stak
