Superb post! I do believe the cryptos with real utility like security, or utility tokens will thrive in the coming years. It has been crazy year for huge ICO's with non-functioning products! Hopefully crypto can move forward more constructively from here... actually, I am sure it will.

ICOs will continue to become more regulated (not necessarily a good thing) but also mature. In order to have a decentralized organization a token is needed, so ICOs or airdrops will always be a way to create these types of communities.

Very true ... I am all for ICOs when responsibly done. Airdrops can be excellent, as long as they don't slow down or clog the Ethereum network as some recently have - (like FCoin exchange) very inconsiderate plus bad PR!
