For the past few weeks i have been an active participant on the Wibson telegram group, i have come to understand and grasp fully the ideology of Wibson’s Core team, The Wibson’s infrastructure is not one meant to bring down the values of people, but to ensure equity and justice to the people being unlawfully wronged by bringing finacial incentives to them, personally, i believe Wibson should be an Application that should be utilized globally and should be made available to everyone.

Preamble

Recently, i was going through my Facebook profile and i didn't fail to notice that my ”People You May Know” section was actually a compendium of people I KNOW!, as astounded i was, i recalled that i expressly declined allowing my Facebook App to utilize the data and information on my phone to make their services to me better, definitely, this is a case of encroachment of individual rights and data policy, but what can i do? Honestly, i do not know.

Thinking about this, i now understand why platform like Wibson is needed in this space, imagine the data algorithm Facebook uses to track users’ data and make huge sums from advertisers and companies who pay them handsomely for the utilization of such data, without the knowledge of the data owners.

The time has come for all and sundry to join the revolution against unsolicited use of data and breach of individual privacy rights and ensure that everyone that owns data gets a fair share of profits from the utilization of his/her data. Imagine how much each and everyone of us would be worth if and only if we choose to be the ones to share our data to those who need it and would pay us for the data, while we still maintain total control over our data.

The Solution- Wibson Ecosystem

Wibson Platform seeks to incentivize users to share their personal data to companies needing them for several purposes and still maintain total control over the individuals data. The Wibson App has been running for a while now and only positive feedback and replies have bee received so far, i am indeed exhilarated at the good decorum of Wibson’s community members, it is indeed amazing.

Recently, Wibson Partnered with Telefonica and was listen in bitforex, these giant strides speak of an excellent team and a wonderful community, Mat Travizano, CEO of Wibson, also presented Wibson at Token 2049 MeetUp at Hong Kong, However Wibson is only available to countries like Argentina, Uruguay, Uk and Spain, therefore only members from these countries have access to the amazing functionalities of the Wibson Space.

I am thinking of a time where Wibson will be available to everyone, anywhere in the world, it would enforce blockchain adoption and incentivize users and Data Owners. The African and Asian Market is overly ripe and waiting for Wibson Platform, sooner or later we hope to receive good news from the team for partnerships with African Countries, this would generally enforce efficient data management and curb unsolicited data maladministration from middlemen companies.

Wibson is a very innovative and excellent idea, i am indeed grateful that it is now a full blown platform, looking over to the future, i know the platform will in time offer great things, and better functions as it innovatively evolves with the constantly changing blockchain technology.
