The Weeks Leading Up to Consensus 2018 Were Interesting for Me.
Multiple crypto projects reached out to me for help in promoting their events and projects at the annual meeting in NYC.
When projects ask me for tips or recommendations they always seem so Gung Ho and then do not do anything I recommend.
I literally spent hours on multiple projects leading up to Consensus 2018. This included emails, calls, team meetings and other activities. None of them paid clients. None of them listened.
I Really Want to See Everyone Succeed in The Crypto Space.
The truth is Pareto's Principle is alive and well. You can't hide from the 80/20 rule. My prediction is that 95% of the current crypto projects will not exist in 5 years. They just don't have what it takes.
There's just too many people looking to extract value when they should be looking at how they are going produce something society will value. To do that they must solve a real world problem(s). How many of these projects are doing that or have a great chance at doing that? In the end the market will decide. Right now there's just plenty of b/s and not near enough USP's. So many copy cats, even plagiarize white papers, no actual product nor any chance of delivery of the products or services they are offering.
The pareto rule is the real deal i mean it can be used in almost all bussines and yes just the 20% is the real value, but i have to say something you have a good way to select projects i followed you when you talk about decent bet a now look the price :)

Quoting Pareto, could be said 20% of the projects will achieve 80% of the cryptocurrency market growth in the next years, what if one of your projects has the potential to be within 20%? Do not give up on your proyects.

It is a strange title compared with the content of the article!
I was expecting that it was hard to be a team player because of the complete different opinions within the team! But it appeared that you have been used! Okay, maybe a harsh statement and the advice you gave them could pay off in the future!
I do see more than 150 crypto projects succeed. If we would take only 5% there would only be 80 left, which is a little to small number according to me! But it will be good to see some disappear,. Next year there will be a battle which the fittest and smartest will survive!
To bad for us also some good projects will disappear!

Pareto rules can be used in almost all bussines in the real deal. But when I speak about you well I will tell you a better way to select the project you follow.

Randy, it seems crazy to me that people wouldn't take on board what you're saying. If they're not valuing the advice because it's free, then more fool them.
Perhaps it's time to put a cost on this kind of advice. That way, if their eyes and ears aren't open to see and hear the guidance you're giving them, at least you've not wasted your time for nothing.
